I too received a phone call from "Tyler and Morgan" last week, from a Maria Lopez, saying she needed to speak to my father, whose name they had, or my mother immediately.They even gave me a case number and everything! I have no idea how they got my name or number, or how they put 2 and 2 together, I have been married with a different last name for over 21 years! They made it sound urgent, so of course I called my dad and gave him the info. I talked to this lady first myself,made it sound as if it was a law case that he could possible benefit from??? I had no clue, as my dad has had money issues for years. So I just figured it was a bill collector, again. They called again the next day,my son answered, I was not home, they told my son that they had people waiting for over 2 hours to speak with his grandfather,so it scared my son, so he called me. I called my dad again, how they didn't have his number and only mine, I have yet to figure out. So this time my dad called them back, in the mean time while dad was on the phone with these freaks, my son googled this phone number, found that it is a scam! I freaked out! I tried calling my dad back to no avail, it was busy. So I sent my daughter in there on her 4 wheeler to tell him to hang up immediately it was a scam! Too late! He gave them his account number, etc. So I got there a little while later, called the state police, who said unless they take $ from his account no crime has been committed. I will also be reporting this to the FCC, this is ridiculous! I was furious. My father had to go close his bank account and open a new one, luckily we caught this in time, within a half hour, so they had not accessed it as of yet. I since have tried calling "Ms. Lopez" back, to no avail! Funny she didn't answer immediately like she did the last time I called her!!! I got disconnected after being put on hold..... BEWARE!!!

This fellow is calling my step daughter who does not even live with us and giving out private financial information.  How in the world did they even get her cell phone number? He stated he could get any information he wanted from North Carolina records.  Told the step daughter that it was about an overdrawn bank account.   I have had the same bank account for 15 years!!!!! and it is definitely not overdrawn.  If they were trying to locate me then seems to me they could get my social sec number and tax records; but I thought this was definitely illegal to discuss any persons financial things with anyone other than the person.  They claim they are an investigator.  Tyler Morgan Assoc

I received a similar call on my cell phone for my father-in-law today.  Same threatening tone.  Noel, yes these people have a job to do and of course it is important to pay back money we have borrowed.  I can only imagine how many people would be more willing to work with them- if they are legitimate- if the debters where treated with a little more dignity and respect.  Most of us borrow  with good intentions.  My father-in-law was flooded with better and better credit offers and when times where good it was no problem paying on them.  Now with the economy slipping and food and gas prices soaring it is increasing harder to pay our debts.  Last little factoid:  my father-in-law has been working with a credit repair agency for a little over 2 years.  In that time he has paid off almost all known credit card debt.  He is doing everything he can to become debt free again.  This may not be a scam but this company trains its employees to be heartless and cruel.  Call, settle up if you have to , but please report them to the Better Business Bureau for their little lies and pushy tactics.

i am from Jamaica i came to this contry and used a credit card and could not pay it and was trying to buy a house and found my credit card it was with Tyler and Morgan and i paid it off and they sent me a letter stating that my Bank of America Account was Paid off and its true i did have this card and i did pay it off with them i owed $6,956.00 and i did a buy out for $1,500.00 and got this information in writing. dont bash the people for doing their job!! you guys need to just pay your bills and stop making people think that this is a scam these people can really help people take care of the credit ratings like it did for me if it was not for them i would have never gotten a letter and i would not have been able to buy me House ...so stop with yuh crazy stuff and pay your god dam bill!!!....

This number calls looking for a person I have never heard of. They leave
multiple messages stating it would be better if I respond than having
a "judge" deal with me( I guess trying to intimidate me- still have
the messages just in case I need them in the future).  When I talked
with someone they stated we have no records we have ever called you!!!!
but if you give me your number we won't call you again.  Have received
numerous calls AND now they stated we are not calling you we are calling
someone in 817 area code.  When questioned how they got my number they
stated from a "source".

Received a call from them regarding a payday loan I had several years ago. They certainly took significantly more money from me than I had originally borrowed, and now they're calling me stating they sent me a letter I never received, and when I requested an account history they said they didn't have one for me. When I asked how they could bring this to court without documentation they said they didn't need any. I tried every angle I knew to combat this woman all she said was that I was not cooperating with them. I told her that wasn't the case.

Rec'd a call from 813-463-1069 from a Dannie Long saying that I had to pay them for a debt immediately or get a judgement against me. I asked her not to contact me by phone as I cannot talk that everything needed to be in writing. She was very rude on the phone. Then this morning she calls my mother. Even gave my financial/personal information to my mother. The thing is that it could have been any one saying that they were my mother and they gave them my information. They claim that they will file judgement in Florida for a loan that is under $500. Something very fishy here.

THE CALLER ID DISPLAYED THE FOLLOWING NUMBER FROM WISCONSIN:608-353-1121, BUT WHEN I ANSWERED A MAN BY THE NAME OF STEVEN JACKSON GAVE ME A TOTALLY DIFFERENT NUMBER FOR MY SON TO REACH HIM ABOUT A LEGAL MATTER. THE NUMBER I WAS GIVEN FOR MY SON TO CALL BACK IS 813-463-1069 EXT. 310. (TYLER AND MORGAN CO.)  I CALLED THIS COMPANY BACK AND ASKED THEM NEVER TO CALL ME BACK AGAIN ON MY PRIVATE LINE.

well i guess i am one of the few people who had a surprisingly good experience with Tyler and Morgan. I received a call today from Trey Harris who told me that my creditor who is also my mortgage company was looking to file a judgment against me i requested reasonable payments and he actually agreed to them! The difference between him and the other people who called me was he treated me like a human being! and thats all i wanted to be treated with some respect.

A woman called from this number, referring to a credit card debt she said I had to pay off immediately or I would be sued by the issuing bank.  I did not recall this debt, so I checked my credit report.  It was not on there.  I called the issuing bank, and they had no record of this card number in my name.  I called the collector back, and she referred me to her "manager," who said he would contact the original agency and get back to me.  So far, I haven't heard anything!  Be careful, I'm fairly certain this is a scam.  I could have easily just given them $1000 over the phone to pay off my "debt" and avoid a personal lawsuit!  They're very intimidating...and convincing.

They called my number trying to locate my daughter.

Said it had something to do with a court case.  Told me his name was Dan Watkins.  Tried to call back and get nothing but a busy signal.

Received a call informing me I should contact someone I don't even know so "the matter can be settled voluntarily".  Don't even know the person they named: live across the country.  When I returned call, all I get is voice-mail.

I HAD A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE WITH TYLER AND MORGAN THEY HELPED ME RESOLVE A DELINQUENT ACCOUNT THEY WORKED WITH ME TO RESOLVE IT I WAS OWING MORE THAN 15K AND THEY WERE KIND ENOUGH TO SETTLE FOR $7500 AND SPLIT IT UP INTO THREE MONTHLY PAYMENTS.. NOW MY CREDIT BUREAU WIL BE UPDATED TO SHOW SETTLED WITHOUT THERE WILLINGNESS TO HELP I WOULD NOT HAVE EVER BEEN ABLE TO PAY THIS ACCOUNT OFF.

I received a call from a woman in June and she stated she was calling from the law firm of Tyler and Morgan and wanted to offer me a settlement for an account I opened several years ago.  She stated she was authorized to settle for 50% of the amount and that I could pay $100.00 per month until it was paid off.  I received a call today from a Dwayne Carter indicating that my case was forwarded to his department and that I needed to settle my account by the end of the month.  I refused to accept his terms, he placed me on hold and never came back.  I am concerned because i have given these people $600.00 of my hard earned money.

Does anyone know the statue of limitations on credit cards in Florida? Tyler & Morgan are threatning me with police and investigators and jail!!! This card was opened in 2002

I have received threatening calls saying I abused my mother since it was her credit that I used - mine you with her permission! they told me that they will file criminal charges on a cc from 2002 which I did not pay - they dont want to make arraingments but have pulled my mothers credit and want the balance transfered to her card - they said they ar going to contact all of my family members!!! Should I get an attorney to stop these people or just tell them to p--- off?

we got a call from a Marie Roman, from tyler & Morgan. call by Monday, urgent!! call 813-774-6233 or 866-435-7024 ext.329 (free). Your husbands paycheck will be garnished or a lean will be put on your home. You need to settle on an agreement or you could possibly pay up to 12,000.00's instead. This is 6 times the old debt. This was a debt that was already wrote off. We didn't owe one penny on it. Our case was going to court on Tuesday. WHAT CASE??? We were never imformed by notices,calls,e-mails nothing. We just recieved a phone call out of no where. They did an unauthorized background check on us and my husbands parents. She kept saying you need to settle on an agreement right now, red flags keep popping up as we speak.If we agree on an amount right now i can get rid all these red flags. PLEASE BEWARE THESE PEOPLE ARE OUT TO GET YOU!!!! THEY ARE BIG TIME SCAMMERS!!!!

I keep getting calls from this number asking for someone who does not live here.  I finally waited to hear the whole message, and someone on the other line called me "bevorar"...I said "what" twice, and she hung up on me.  I tried calling back on the 800 number they referenced, 800 306 4817 and the caller ID number, 813 463 1069, and it is a constant busy signal.  Something's not right here.

They are called Tyler Morgan AC and I hear they are scammers trying to get your social security number!!!!

this phone number called me as well, i didn't answer the phone because i've been receiving many Phishing scams in my email box alone! most are people i see trying to send me payments for my merchandise via a fake printed off check. Everyone must watch out of course, but some of these scams are really "good". if you receive an email from Paypal saying to send an item out before the payment is posted, saying it takes 24 hours for Paypal to post money for buyer seller protection; then they never send the money.

kinda off subject i know, but i don't want more people to fall into these Phishing schemes. if you answer a call from this number, don't give even the slightest bit of information; they can use that as a starting point to get ALL THE REST OF YOUR INFO.... not all that hard to do either!

I have gotten several calls from this number on my cell phone.  They will not leave a message and I can not return a call to this number.

got call from woman with heavy accent asking for brother (who no longer works for us) when told this she then asked for his brother.  tried several times to find out what call was about and she finally said "proceedings in Travis"  in Travis County.  Said she was with firm of Tyler and Morgan.  number she gave to call 800-306-4817 was not what came up on caller id (813-463-1069.  sounds like collection agency fishing for information

A Maria Vega (guess she changes last name)called said she is with Tyler & Morgan and was demanding that I return her call because they were scheduled to be in court for a litigation on my case on Tuesday afternoon and that I needed to take her calls seriously and call back.  What the heck is she talking about?
