This number 813-506-4710 sent me a text and ask if I had Free texting?  I'm not responding. How do these off the wall places or people get cell numbers??? It's annoying and I DONT have free texting - so now I've wasted a text on a random idiot. How do we stop this???

This idiot has called my number several times - the LAST time was SUNDAY MORNING (sorry for shouting, but I'm sure you can all understand my frustration....) at 6:22AM!!!
I called the number back, as many of you have, and no one answers. I want to know who this is and how to get him gone. He's got more than one phone number, by the way...Next time I see it, I'll write it down and pass it on. How can we get rid of this parasite, though? I have no collection agencies after me (oddly enough, ;-), for the first time in years...;-), which is what I thought this a***ole was doing. I've just recently gotten a new number, and whoever had it last obviously left a lot of creditors behind.
Anyway...anybody got any suggestions as to how to get rid of this nuisance? I just want to know who to report him to.

Did not answer, voice mail was just a hang up.  Tried to call number it just rang endlessly - no answer and no voice mail.

after four consecutive unanswered calls from this number in five minutes I decided it was either someone I knew calling from an odd number or someone who needed a piece of my mind, so I picked up. It was the former, calling from a Metro PCS phone that I know for certain has been held by the person who holds it for much longer than the time span between now and the last several most recent posts on this page, and whose number is NOT 8135065700. Most likely scenario: this number shows up as the caller ID from various random metro PCS phones for whatever reason.

I called a friend from my Metro PCS cell phone today and it showed up on his television caller id as 813-506-5700 PAI. I think he has Brighthouse also. I called again and it showed the same way twice. Is this a Metro PCS issue or a Brighthouse issue or is the person with this number piggybacking signals on other peoples phone numbers???

I'm not sure what to make of all this. I'm leaning towards it being a glitch in the phone companies system. I have seen the PAI thing several times on caller I.D. even when it was someone that I knew calling. I'm using Google voice now with all my phones, but I don't think that is related to this issue.

I think those people who are being scammed report here- because it's annoying - so it appears to be a scammers phone number. But I don't think this is exclusively the case -I think it's just a number that shows up often when there is an error in the caller I.D.

The answer might be that one or more scammers know how to use this known error or a default caller I.D. of some sort, and are able to call non-stop without getting busted.

One more comment, I have seen this happen from incoming Google Voice, AT&T, and landlines, so I don't think it is a carrier specific problem, but maybe a digital(transfer switch,etc - don't know what the term would be)

Got a call to my work phone at 9:51, 9:55 and 9:56 am.  I didn't answer since I didn't recognize the number, but they didn't leave a voicemail either.  Glad I didn't pick up after reading these comments

Constantly rec'd calls from 813-506-5700 until I did this.......When I answered and the person on the other end started speaking, I blew a whistle as LOUD as I could into the mouthpiece. They stopped calling!!!!!! Guess they didn't like my message!!

I tend to agree with the caller ID glitch. As a business, I receive numerous phone calls. Today alone 4 of my ID's showed up as this number when they were actually my customers - 2 from Boca Raton, 1 from CA or another from MN. The number of ID's is what prompted me to google this.

i got a call to day from (813)-506-5700. i could not understand what they said or if it was a kid or adult or what sex it was. they had like a spanish accent. they called me like 2-3 time in less then 1 minute.

Got a call from this number last night and it was my wife who is out of town. Said she was calling from her cell phone. really strange.

he called me today and he is pissing me off.

I recieved a call from this same number tonight and the gentleman had an arabic accent on the other line using the name joe m ., told me i just won a a $500 grocery card and that he needs my credit card info to see if i was who i claimed to be that had at leaste $1. I gave him the run aroung cause i realy need help but i did't give my info to him.i called back and he hung up twice.

that number calls me daily i have the location of the phone and going to give to the police the location is 27.9464 latitude by -82.3531 longatiude it is south tampa and not kid it is a man

I received a call today 2-25-10 at 12:25pm from this number (813-506-5700)  It comes up on my call id as Tampa FL.  I did not answer and of course no message was left.  After reading all these comments i will continue not to answer and i noticed some people were talking about having brighthouse.  I do have brighthouse and it shows up on my tv also.  I get a lot of calls with a city and state name in the name section of my caller id.  Not sure why........

PAI came up on my moms landlind and this number everyone is talking about Well Thank goodness I answered cause it was my husband calling from Iraq. I asked him whos number he was calling me from. He said his. Told him what number came up. ( He has a skype number) so I am sure must be something wrong with the phones ids. But also it could be someone you dont know. Dont give out any info at all. just tell them you will call them back!

I received a phone call from this number and it was a friend overseas.  When I asked about the number they said they were calling from their personal cell phone.  After seeing the area code I looked it up because i thought they were going to pop in for a surprise visit (it has happened before).  After reading these posts, i agree... it is probably a glitch.

Just received a call at work from this #. He said he had to go but would call later. Had thick accent, it took me a bit to realize what he had said. I immediately researched the # on Google. So glad to have a resource like this.

i have gotten a call everyday for 2 weeks from this nomber..... 813-506-5700....and they hang up everytime i answer the phone....they called all day everyday for 2 weeks

Got a call at 8:18am today from 813-506-5700, picked up and no one answered, said hello 3 times and hung up. When I called back a couple minutes later there wasn't even a ring, dialed it and waited again still no ring or anything just silence was weird..and my phone works fine o.O

How Can we stop the Fraud Calls,  this one must be put on by 8th graders, they called 12 times , and I still don't know what they are trying to say, how do I stop this w/out pauing for call block

My wife called me from this number from Guatemala !!!??? (813-506-5700) and left a message while on a recent trip. She was using a family memebers (Guatemalan) pay as you go cell phone. I tried to call her back through the number but it didn't work.  The number on my Caller ID WAS NOT the number she was calling from.  I speculate that when you receive a call from this number that it may be from a foreign country using some kind of money saving routing service. The call may be friend (in my case) or foe.

alright so i got a call from this number and i didnt reconize it it was the first time they called, and they called my home phone. so i answered inncase it was a friend calling from another number cuase it was the same area code as i live in. when i answered there was no tone, or sound or anything ? it scared me after i read a comment on here when it said: how they knew her full name and her husdands name. im only fifteen, so i geuss you could understand with all these preditors around here. plus i have my little sister with me.....  it was so freakishhh ! i really dont want them to figure out anything about my family \: or do anything dangerous to us..

I receive at least one call a day from this number, they never leave a message, this has been going on for the past two weeks, caller ID comes up as Lohnes, Verna. I'm never home when they call, and I can't reach them.
