The fraudsters are sending fake text messages and telephone calls imposing the smiONE? logo fraudulently and advising cardholders to give away account information and to go to bogus websites. Ignore these text messages and phone calls and never give your PIN or card number to anyone who calls or texts you. We will never send you a text or phone call to activate your card. smiONE will NOT call and ask you for information as we have other ways of verifying your identity. I googled smiONE - it's a prepaid phone card company.  Neither one of us has EVER had a prepaid card from smiONE.  (I actually had never heard of them until this.)  Very strange to me that BOTH our phones were contacted the same day ... and very irritating.  We are both on DO NOT CALL list.

Got a text from this number to call imediately, I did not call it, I just looked it up to see who was calling. Is this because I dialed the call block number about 2 weeks ago?

Similar. Got this text: ([Achieve]) Call: 813 508 7915. ______XXXXXXXXXXAcctIssue. Blanks had six digits of some acct #. Gotta be a phishing scam or some one hoping you will call or text back...Throw em in jail!

Sent a text message to my unpublished number.  Called and it doesn't ring.

Husband and I both received text, same day from 210382@vtext.com to call 8135087915 concerning ([smiONECard]) concerning acct. issue.  Thanks to those who have posted a warning . Florida's Attorney General Office should be all over these scumbags.

Got the text from same #....called and they asked for 16 digit card #....Hung up and Googled phone #...813.508.7915....thanks for posts and heads up!!

Called number and it wanted card info.  defineately a fraud.

Got this text today claiming that my debit card has been suspended due to fradulant activity. Called my bank (Bank of America) & they said nothing was wrong with my account, but report it to abuse@bankofamerica.com

Got this text message to call smiONE.  Was asked for my card number, Expiration date and pin number.  Do not give this information to these people.

Text message stating call immediately account issue with first 4 or 5 digits of an Acct# followed by X's.

it's a scam to get private information. don't respond.
it says it is from smiOne - a prepaid debit card. they even advise on their site that a scam is going on using their name.

Text asking to call for acct info immediately. Text sent through vtext.com claiming to be from SMIone... a company which deals with prepaid debit cards apparently. Have received multiple texts today asking to call various numbers.
