asking for debit card number and then I hung up---it is not legitimate because I don't have a security service cu account --the must be just random dialing the area phone numbers---BEWARE

Got a call late morning on Jan, 29th. It was an automated message claiming to be from Mastercard Fraud Prevention and that my card is being blocked due to suspicious activity. "Press 1 for more details." The first thing I thought was that it must be a wrong number. I didn't press 1 and it hung up in about 5 to 7 seconds.

Defiantly a fraud call trying to phish peoples account info. If anyone is in the FL area, I would recommend trying to contact police

Got a call at 2212h. Weird thing is: I am from out of town (not this area code) and suddenly it calls me (with same bogus request as above... press 1 to reactive something or other... of course I didnt... but I'm puzzled - how did it dig out my number? Random number generation is HIGHLY unlikely (I'm from the 719 area code!) and I've only been here (in the 813 area code) since last night... can they scan our numbers are our phones synch with local towers?

A recorded message called me and said my account with security service was locked because of fraudulent activity and to press 1 to reactive my account. I thought it was weird. I don't have a checking or saving account with this bank. But I do have a loan account with them. I didn't trust the message so I didn't press 1. I just hung up and then I called Security service and they said its a phishing scam that is trying to get peoples information.

got this call today asking for a card number. also got two texts this morning from 8883491781 that was claiming to be SSFCU as well. I love how they get our cell numbers.
