I have had USAA since I was 15 1/2 and got my license. I am 34 now and never had a rude encounter..

If the are rude, maybe it's because you and all the other clowns on here are rude to them first and expect customer service reps to clean your feet and wash you car for you. get over yourselves.

I'm gonna call BS on this one. Ive been with USAA for over 10 years and have NEVER spoken to anyone in that organization that was rude.

I have had USAA insurance for 44 years and they have always been courteous and prompt with their service.

I have had nothing but excellent results from USAA.  My entire family has joined [dependents] and have had great success with them on auto loans, auto insurance, home loans, construction loans, and general banking services.  They are a FOUR STAR company with a solid reputation for customer service.

Well, in my 20 years with USAA I've never had a bad experiencewith them, but the way things are going now a days...they might.....I'm waiting for a call from an adjuster....we'll see.

USAA is the greatest.  If you put them against the problems of other companies I don't think people would really complain.

HAVE CALLED ABOUT CLAIM FROM BEING HIT BY ONE OF THEIR INSUREDS. THEY DO NOT RETURN MY CALLS. POLICE REPORT SHOWS THEIR INSURED SLIDEING INTO OUR VEHICLE IN OUR LANE AND THEY ARE DENYING THE CLAIM. DEKALB POLICE OFFICER EVEN CALLED AND TOLD THEM IT WAS THE OTHER DRIVERS FAULT. DID NOT WANT TO GET AN ATTORNEY BUT I WILL BEFORCED TO. THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER NOSERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN. WHAT IS IRONIC IS I SOLD AUTO INS. FOR 16YRS AND HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH INCOMPETENCE IN A COMPANY. I WOULD RATE THEM A 0 FOR SERVICE AND VERY RUDE AS THEY WILL NOT EVEN CALL ME BACK. LEFT NUMEROUS MESSAGES. ACCIDENT WAS JAN. 14TH AND STILL NO RESPONSE. REASON FOR DENYING IS THEIR INSURED SAID WE WERE IN THEIR LANE. IF I COULD I WOULD SOPY AND POST THE REPORT.

I have been using USAA for over 40 years and never, have I ever, had a bad experience with them.  They have always been very helpful and supportive.  When I was robbed, they were very sensitive to the situation.  This morning a 45' tree fell in my front yard and they couldn't have been more supportive.  They are a wonderful company.

USAA is a fantastic insurance company. The best I have ever had.  Almost everyone there has a great customer service attitude and is a real pleasure to do business with.  That being said, however, I have noticed that the claims adjusters are fairly typical of all insurance companies, to the point, and sometimes rude depending on the situation.

Returned a phone call from an agent from USAA related to an accident.
I called back but was told the number is not in use.

The only time I've ever had an issue with USAA was when we were getting our home loan, however, it wasn't USAA people I was dealing with, they sub-contracted it out to GMAC loan officers (who seem to have their heads up an orifice) . EVERYONE from USAA has been nothing but professional and courteous with me every time I've had a problem or question with anything.
And for the person who thinks USAA was calling to solicit business, "they need to quit calling us...my family is very happy with the insurance we have now", USAA doesn't do that. They are probably calling for some other, legitimate, reason

USAA is the absolute BEST insurance company I have ever worked with. Their service and response time is superior to most, if not all, other companies.

I have mixed dealings with them. The frontline people were VERY nice the adjuster was very rude and was confusing my claim with someone else's claim they were working on.  She kept typing in thier notes in my claim.  Made it very confusing and she was rude about her mistake... Plus, to punish me she sent a 2nd inspector out to look at my car which I had to take PTO for.  I told her, you must have over $1000 in a $700 claim.  Her comment back to me was " I don't car and it happens all the time"  Wonder how they can keep the lower rates with her attitude.  After this is settled I will circle back to a manager about her customer service.

Okay, well I should be expecting a call from USAA insurance I suppose, since I'm anticipating a fix to my van following some damage by one of their insureds, however, the caller from this number hung up on me after simply saying "Mrs. Meyers?" :-/  No call back after several minutes....Guess they didn't want to talk to me after all?

I've had mixed results here. Some nice some rude. My parked car was hit over a week ago  (by a USAA member)  and USAA can't seem to get it together. I just want my car fixed but I'm still waiting. AUGH

Been with USAA since 1971, best insurance ( auto & home); hurricane damage, 5 auto accidents; always had great service, friendly and responsive staff, no matter what time I called.  Have had some issues with getting calls & no msg on answering machine, though with the screwy telephone service I get from Time Warner, have to believe it is on my end. Never had that happen on my cell ( after I gave them that # as primary). Wife just had accident yesterday & received call from Body shop today that USAA had sent them the paperwork to do the estimate.

Just had a call from this number but no one answered the other end. Tried to call them cal and got a messaged that it is USAA and that they would call back but I am not interested in them.

Totally agree, we are going through a fire loss, and rude, unprofessional are two words that come to mind.

I got the same number. They called once but never left a message but a few seconds later they called again and never left a message for the second time. All it showed that it was from Tampa FL. But if it's from USAA, they need to quit calling us...my family is very happy with the insurance we have now.

Are you crazy! USAA is a huge company, and they service men and women in the military. They also have the lowest loan interest rates around (25,000 loan at 2% interest rates). You probably don't qualify and are obviously uneducated. What a sad, sad little person you are.

USAA is a top-rated insurance company... and I have always found their people to be polite and capable.  When an adjuster (or banking specialist) doesn't have an answer for me, they go and find it.  Not everyone has access to their services, and I for one, have been very happy. I've been using their insurance and banking services for nearly 20 years!

I've never had a bad experience with the insurance adjusters for my auto however when I had to call one time about my home it was as if I was speaking with a totally different company.

USAA Claim Adjuster.Left a message because I didn't recognize umber and didn't answer. Very nice. Never had any issues with USAA. We do all our banking and insurance through them and even have our home mortgage through them.

Serious USAA is awesome, so easy to deal with. Plus they have business together and at times like now they are fine when others are suffering.
