I also received a call from this company when I reported I was an Attorney and they will be shut down my firm will do further investigation I was told f*** u and the call was disconnected I was recording the call I will have the FBI officials do further proceedings!

I got scam from GE Capital loans they need to put on the news and in the front page of paper and get them arrested they stole 110.00 dollars from the guy said his name is Roger and there from Florida and this phone from there.

One important thing to remember if these losers have any of your personal information such as your social security number, date of birth or drivers license make sure you register with identity protection notify the credit agencies as well as your banks!!

They have all of my information and after I told them they were scammers they get angry and hang up then keep calling back with diff numbers.   This is just awful

Yes It was almost targeted by these people too. The have phone numbers in Texas too 512 area code. and I called the number and I said, "Hey scammer how many people are you ripping off today?" He said you are a Moth******er and you suck your mammas p**sy. I was shocked to hear that kind of language. GE capital Bank, Huh. and when you call it is always the same person too. Very foreign like Pakistani or Indian. And when they answer the phone they never say their first name either. When I called the number back, I get a recording saying the magic jack customer your are calling is unavailable to take your call, please leave a message! GE would not have a recording like that or they would never talk that way over the phone. This loser needs to be arrested if they ever find this man. He has other two accomplices too a female and another male. I think they are also running they payday loan scams too. Because I called a number from a number they called, guess what? Same voice only different fake business name like colonial cash or other fake web sites that they suckering people into, especially the disabled and the elderly people. SICK!

Ge capital retail bank gave me a call one day saying i was approved for a 2,500 dollar loan.I spoke with a guy named james ceo of the company.Fake mr.james tells me all i have to do is go to a 7eleven,family dollars,Wallmart etc.Buy a greendot money card and load 217.00 dollars on the card.Then i will be giving a tracking number for the 2,500.I put my 217.00 on the card while on the phone with james he puts me on hold.Gets back o. The line saying i have to load 395.00 on another greendot.I refused it told him to cancel my application and that i didn't want the money just refund me my 217.00 back. Didn't never see my cash again.If its anybody out there pls don't go through theses people......Scams,Scams,Scams

407-505-6486 Florida Call said they were from GE Capitol.  Did the same thing as mentioned above ( below).  After giving them my bank info, I asked if I could have it in writing all the information. They said after I get a money pak card they will.  I told them to cancel everything if they don't have it in writing and I am not interested.  Now they have my info. I called my bank and we are waiting to make sure they are not trying to take anything out and bounce my account.

Did they attempt to take anything out of the accounts.  They called me and after I gave them my info, I said I want things in writing before I give you anything else of my info.  They said they can not.  I said then cancel it.  He said I will cancel and hung up.  They have my acct info.  I caught on right after.  GE Capitol would have it written for legal purposes.  I called my bank and told them.

I agree - sue them.  But it is ridiculous to say that GE "let them use" their symbol.  Would it be your fault if someone forged your signature and stole your identity?  Would you have "let them use" your signature?

We should be able to do something to get our money back we should sue them i don't see how general electric would let them use the symbolG E. To many people hurt behind this.

I got a call from a guy this morning claiming to be from GE capital bank. He told me his bank has approved between $1000 and $10000 in loan for me. I have been applying for auto loan likewise on a car shopping so i receive several calls lately. But this guy who claims to be Jack sounds so suspicious in his thick Indian accent. I went online onto GE capital bank and that seems to be the very first time i saw that website meaning i never applied to that bank for any loan. Prior to hanging up the call, i asked for his phone number and he gave me the same number he called from without any extension, then i begin to suspect that something fishy is going on. He could not even confirm my identity before he told me that i have been approved for the loan. I  called  general electric  company  and told  them  ge bank was using there name  and  scamming  people, he said to hold on and he  would  check on it,  when he came back he said ge bank  was  their bank.  they took  over bank of Georgia that worked off an  island on the  east coast,  how  can  we  close down  G.E..  I  quit  buying  any  of  their  products, but they go under different  names

When I call the number back same guy answers the phone and knows who I am without me having to tell him any information.

As a newly divorced single mom who had her credit ruined I had the same scenario with "George".  Unfortunately I wasn't smart enough and he has $700 of my money "on hold" with my loan amount which will be released as soon as I raise my credit score 250 through them for a cost of $393!  I told him forget it I don't want the loan I want my money back.  He insists that he can't stop the loan hold.  I have gone to the police and filed a report there and with Green Dot and the FTC and will call the Attorney General tomorrow.  This may not get my money back but I hope they find these people and give them what they deserve!!

There is a number that frequentlt appears on my phone, (347)501-5184. They claim to be someone from GE Capital saying that I have been approved for my $3000 loan that I recently applied for online. First off, I have not applied for any loans and it is my job issued cell phone that I have had for 3 years. Also, they keep referring to me as Michael Meldrum, which is not my name. I answer usually and tell them, I am not Michael and you have the wrong number but they continue to talk, totally disregarding what I just said to them! The calls started early 2013, but stopped. Then within the last week they have started back up, calling about every hour from 8am, until I turn my phone off at the close of business hours after 5pm!!!
