On behalf of Macy's I apologize for the limited mental capacity of some of our associates. They should leave a decent message but often do not. As for asking for SS# and other private info, it is against company policy. Never provide SS# over the phone. I know it has happened though. It happened to my son when he applied. We certainly appreciate your interest in working at Macy?s and, of course, shoping at Macy's.

Since applying at Macy's this number has been calling me.  They asked for my social and birthdate over the phone.  When I do not answer, there is never a message for me.  I called corporate office of Macy's, they reported that they do not ask for this information over the phone.  Do NOT provide it!

Called my cell phone asked for someone and when i said they were not available they hung up.....

They called and instructed my wife to comein Thursday and bring her SS card?? when I call back I they ask for an extetion number then NO help what so ever.... ???

Called our home on 8-17-10 with their # blocked - I don't usually pick up blocked/blind calls but did - they asked for my wife by 1st & last name but refused to state who they were when asked so hung up on them.

This is a number generated by Macy's store in Central Florida. I have a friend that calls me from the Florida Mall store in Orlando and this is the caller ID number. Hope this helps.

This is the store number for the company they usually use this number to verify deliver, customer service follow, internet orders etc... I don't think they make solicitations from here.
