Called but left no message.  We called back to ask to be put on their Do Not Call list.  The operator at "Charity Call Center" said the hang-ups are due to computer-generated dialing and that they call to ask for donations. She said that she would put us on their Do Not Call list.

This company is Organizational Development.  They are NOT a charity.  They are a telemarketing company that calls for various organizations including some companies that call themselves charities.  Even if you ask to be removed from their call list, you will only be removed from the current call list.  They will call you over and over, usually from different extensions, for other "charities."  It is a bad idea to give to these charities.  Organizational Development keeps most of the money they collect.  They may give a small percentage or nothing at all (if they don't meet required minimums) to the charity.  Furthermore, these "charities" usually sound like a national charity but aren't.  If you want to donate to a charity, call your local chapter and do so.

This is a telemarketing company in Tampa, fl.  They contract with all kinds of so-called charities.  Once they told me they were collecting for firefighters.  I asked "firefighters in what city?"  She couldn't tell me.  Then my neighbor who is from India, told me that they used to make these calls for a living and only a small percent of the money is sent to the "charity" (less than 10%) and the rest is the telemarketing company's profit.  The 10% doesn't even have to be sent if their contract specifies a minimum collection.  So they can keep everything.  If they do send something, it could be sent to firefighters in India!  This company has a whole bunch of different extensions.  Never give money to any of these organizations.  If you want to donate to firefighters contact your local organization directly.  These telemarketers are SCUM!

Received several calls from this number.  I never answer. Interestingly the caller ID says "Organizational" and today I started getting calls from a similar number (813-932-6646) that also says "Organizational" on the caller ID.  I suspect it is the same company with more than one line.  Doesn't matter 'cause I NEVER answer unknown calls.  When are these idiots gonna realize that we are on to them.
