Yeah.... I did not receive any scholarships during my 4 years at the university other than the ones I earned myself while in High School, so frankly, I do not care do donate anything back and next time they call I will answer and tell them the same thing.

This number keeps calling me, but doesn't leave a message or answer when I call back. It's really making me mad.

I am the current manager of the University of South Florida Telefund. All calls from 813-974-XXXX numbers are legitimate. We have a 30 station call center located in the Sam and Martha Gibbons Alumni Center. All of the stations have different numbers, hence why you may be called from a different number on a different day.
We call parents of current students, all alumni, and friends of the University. These calls are used to update information, get feedback on the University, and ask for support for our Parents Fund or the college/campus from which an alum has graduated.
We also call seniors on behalf of the Senior Class Gift Campaign.
If you have any questions/comments/concerns, please don't hesitate to give us a call at 813-974-1137.
Thanks and Go Bulls!

This is USF calling. The purpose of the calls is to reconnect with alumni and parents of students attending the University. I worked there when i was in college. Money raised helps finance many scholarships, fellowships, chairs, professorships, and many other important things the university. Whether or not you make a donation, remember that the callers are current students just trying to do something for USF. Be patient with them. Personally, I used to not mind giving them a donation, and I had already shelled out a ton of money as an out of state student!

2009-2010 We received these call often, at night before 9pm. CID says "USF" (Univ. of South Florida). I'm a grad, but my wife was foolishly involved with a hippie FPIRG org. and they call wanting for funds. We don't answer, but they always call. I suppose that's the only REAL JOB the lib kids are willing to work at.

3/28/09 Received a phone call from this number soliciting for a credit card number to donate a MINIMUM of $250.00 to a local college fund. Very adamant regarding the amount of donation and credit cards were the ONLY acceptable means of making a donation.
