I got a call from this number and the email message "1855556443@suncoastmessge.ws Suspicious activity recorded for your sunoast schools ccount. Call now 813-999-2009
to restore services for youraccount  July 7, 6:48 pm"  Which is obviously a scam of some sort and has been circulating for a while.

just got this number and no body would answer... ...I said that this is a do not call number and the person hung up?

Caller ID said "unknown name".  Let my fax machine answer.  Hopefully their machine will flag my # as a fax # and delete it. Last week I got zero calls like this, today alone I got 4!  This is out of control.......

Ok, well, I ALMOST fell for it.  As others have said, they have just enough information that makes it seem as though you're talking to a bonafide person.  When I was handed off to the "supervisor" who could approve my lower interest rate for life (for the small fee of $1200), I became quite concerned.  When I tried to say "no, thanks" and get off the phone, the gentleman (Eastern Indian accent) became very aggressive.  I then hung up, and immediately received 2-3 phone calls from 917-333-0000.  My credit card company is changing my credit card number, and I've contacted the various credit reporting agencies and requested 90 day holds.F9

Recieved a call from "Card Services" about lowering my interest rate. I pressed 9 as i seem to enjoy giving telemarketers a hard time. When asked if I was wanting to lower my interest rate I asked "For what card?. The caller said for your Visa/Mastercard. I said since my Master Card was cancelled and I dont have a Visa card what were they talking about. The caller said "Don't you have any other credit card?" I said "You called me, By the way what is my name?" The caller then said let me bring that up and disconnected the call.

Can not believe the call I just recieved!  I pushed 9 so that I could speak with a representative.  When he came on the line I said that I would like to have my number removed from the call list.  The call immediatly turned in to an OBSCENE PHONE CALL!  He said he would like to F.... my P.... I asked if he really just said that and he said even more of the same.  What a jerk!!  When I asked him what he thought God thought of his language he didn't care.  Just said more of the same so I hung up.  I don't know what company this is but if I find out I will report them.  Too bad that guy is so hard up he has to talk like that to strangers.  And it's really too bad he doesn't care how God feels!!

There is no problem with your credit card account. ....To lower your interest rate dial "1" now to speake  with an operatore

I received a phone call from this number last night offering the same crap; told me to press 9 to speak to an operator. I wanted to speak to someone that could remove my number from their dialer. When a "so called" operator answered and I told him to discontinue calling my phone number, he proceeded to yell at me and tell me that he would call me when ever he wanted, day or night; that I could not stop him from doing so. Of course his English was horrible. I doubt that this guys name was "Kenneth".
I have turned this number in for the threat that I received from "Kenneth". This camel monkey better hope that he does not call me again. I intend to persue this further.

A recorded message: Called to reduce the interest on my credit cards. I hung up then called back to get the name of the company. Once I expressed a few choice words for the person that answered, he started talking in a foreign language.

I also receive multiple calls from this number. I ask to be removed and they just hang up on me....EVERYTIME.

I like the whistle idea. I press "9" to get the real person and then press and hold a key on the phone's keypad. I've also been known to let out a scream. I really felt better, but it didn't stop the calls. Blocking the numbers is a good idea, but they just call in on another number. I caught a blip on the news the other night about some federal agency doing something about robo calls???

I have been recieving calls from this number as well. At it is becoming a annoyance. I got another one today. I speicifically asked for them not to call me again and they said that they could not do that. I then asked if there was someone there who I could speak to about this. And then this guy told me that there was no one that I could talk to. What the hell? I dont even own a credit card. I only use a debit card for my purchases. How can i get them to stop harassing me with this ?

I get a call daily from unknown name and unknown number.  They never leave a message so they must be crooks.  I just don't anwer.  If some I know is too ashamed to let me see their name/number then I dont want to talk with  them anyway.

I have been getting these calls several times over the past year.  They always say they can lower my interest rate on my credit card.  I finally got tired of the calls.  Has anyone waited until a real person gets on the line & then you blow a whistle as loud as you can into the mouthpiece?  Worked for me.

Got a robocall from 813-999-0000, instructing me to press #9 to consolidate credit card interest rates.  When real person on the other end of the line was told that we are on the National 'Do Not Call' list and that we would report any future calls to our state attorney general, caller said "Your attorney sucks!"  I said"Say WHAT??" and he said "F*** You!"

My wife was a customer of online Zappos.com and perhaps our info was hacked from there.

Received a call from this number on December 28th, 2011.  When I ask for the business license to do business in Oregon - the man said he was calling from Georgia.  I ask to speak to his supervisor and he started with "filthy" language - each time I asked to speak to his supervisor

I have contacted the do not call list and the FTC as I get so many of these calls from too many different caller ID #'s.  Card Services uses caller ID phishing so that no one can get to them to stop them. The calls, as I'm told are often computer generated.

Another scam call from this outfit. Robo call for Credit Card services (scam folks) message about lowering interest rate and press 1 for live rep, press 9 to be removed.  I pressed the one and blew my whistle in his ear.

This is a scam outfit and they are phishing.

Don't have any card dud.. I paid them off and got rid of them years ago! Get a grip on that one for a start

Sounds like your friend made the mistake of giving them her personal info!  Bad idea to provide any such information when someone calls you, no matter who or what they claim to be.  They don't just "get" your account information from thin air.

"highly" illegal?  what does highly mean?  must not be much of a penatly since these calls never end even with risk of high penatly for highly illegal activity.   :-)

I also received a call from this number, the previous calls I ignored as they said "this is your final notice". Well I kept receving calls so I pushed 9 for a rep, Kevin, I was very pleasant but as soon as I got to remove me he hung up on me. We also are on ALL do not call lists.

Let this ring out and Googled the number. I am so tired of these unwanted calls.
