Just got the same text message, and the number was 917-310-0007. "Congratulations! you have received a discount of $100 dollars on your next month bill. please visit http://a.vz50offer.com/"
I have Boost Mobile, and the link goes to AT&T....wow scammers, that's the best you could do? haha

This is a scam - Norton (Symantec) is aware of the site and is blocking it on their software. I dont get why we cant block these texts or report them to our carriers. Im wih Verizon and have received about 20 of them.

wow they must be hitting eveyone.. I just got mine and same as everyone else.. I'm with AT&T. Someone should really stop these annoying txts..My question, did AT&T give all our numbers out? Were there customer data base hacked?

Just received a suspicious text from someone saying: "Congratulations! you have received a discount of $100 on your next month bill please visit http://a.vz50offer.com/"
The grammatical errors make me suspicious. Also, instead of "www" there is an "a" at the beginning of the web address. vz50offer.com is a Verizon site but not sure if this one directs you to a legit site. I didn't even try and I deleted the text.
Even funnier is that I'm an AT&T customer so I couldn't utilize a Verizon discount anyway! haha!
