This number called me and claimed to have called my employer which was patently untrue because my employer was closed.  He used the name Alex Rogers and claimed to be from the Department of Legal Affairs.  I've been through this scam before.  The eventually get tired if you don't send them money.  They threaten to send the police to your work or house.  Tell them to bring it on.

Yeah I just call  call from this number too, sound like a Indian guy he say if I dnt return my call he wishes me the best of luck. How can I stop him from calling me?

James Rogers called my work a few times.. Said there is criminal papers filed against me.  Told me to call the number right back and speak to attorney, Alex Watson as he has my case information.  I asked him what is was regarding and he said he was only a parallegal and could not give me any information.

I called him back.  I have gotten a call like this before.  He asked what my claim number was when I told him I didn't have one and suspected it was a fraudulent call he stated "What! This is an attorney's office" and hung up on me. I blocked the number from my phone.

I got the exact same call yesterday at my job. I work State Police am got them involved. The guy even got someone to call me from a number listed as 911!!

Some guy by the name of James Rogers called my employer hotline threathen to arrest me about some debt I owe. I was transfered call and when I asked questions, no information was provided but recieved threat of arrest.

I received call yesterday from this number who said that a law office had a recieved a lawsuit against me. The person who answered had a very thick foreign accent. Funny thing is, when I asked for info about this, the female told me to shut up and stop interruptin her and if I didn't, then she was gong to hang up and just proceed with legal actions. Needless to say, I hung up. Well 15 minutes later I got a call that showed up on my caller I'd as 911. Clearly you can't call from 911. The person said that they were from the San Diego sheriffs dept and they recieve a warrant for my arrest from a company that has a corp office out of California. Hahahaha real funny!

This guy said that he was from a law firm, couldn't understand very much of what he was saying due to his accent, but he told me I accepted a loan that I never paid back. Then said he was going to contact my employer to let them know the police would be there to arrest me and I would loose my job!

He threatened my life to a friend of mine and also screamed profanity at me and threatened me as well. He used such horrible language. He called me a N****r, C***sucker, told me to die, to f*** of. Called me a no good bi***, etc.

Another cryptic call from "David Smith" at from 814-289-8207, using similar language.  I thought it was nice that he used "have a blessed day."  English is not his first language, so I could not catch everything he said, but he never identified his law firm, client, etc.   He also gave the veiled threat of "only wishing me luck" if I did not call.  I, too, have great credit, and can't imagine ANY reputable law firm's use of that language.  When you call, they are vague about their name.  SCAM!!!!

James "Something" is repeatedly calling my work from 814-289-8207, when I call him back nobody answer the phone....... Please, do not call my work because it brings me problems with my boss.   I have perfect control about my bills!!!

Calling as David Smith.  If myself or my attorney doesn't get back to him then he wishes me luck as the situation unfolds around me.  Had these calls before, it's a scam.  Don't call back or send them money!!!

Left me a voicemail. Called back and got some story about a 'Law office' from somebody with total lack of english skills. Not sure what they are trying to scam for but most certainly a scam of some sort.
Vulgar and rude, does not scratch the surface of describing this hoax.

SOME GUY, CLEARLY FOREIGN, PROBABLY AT A CALL CENTER IN INDIA SOMEWHERE, HE PRETTY MUCH ACTS BELLIGERENT, SHOWS OFF IGNORANCE AND USES A LOT OF PROFANITY ON THE PHONE, DEFINITELY NOT A LAW FIRM AND CERTAINLY NOT A LEGITIMATE BUSINESS.
