They called my job as Gavin Smith saying that I owe money for I don't owe, And can't remember owing. They won't give me the name of the client they represent. And that they have a case against me going to drag me to court. Wouldn't an Attorney send  a notification if you were being sued?

This company called me and said I was being arrested for not paying a loan I suposedly got. I immediatley called the Attorney Generals Office who contacted the FBI because I am already a vicitm of Identity Theft.

This is round 2 for me too.   The first time I got all mad and yelled and screamed at them.   This last round I let them leave about 7 or 8 messages on my cell phone.   This person said, "If you choose to ignore my calls, all I can say is GOOD LUCK and prepare for what will befall you."   What a freakin joke.   So today I called back and very calmly called them about 20 times in a row.   Yes, I happened to have the spare time.   They started hanging up on me.   I would call back, sometimes they wouldn't answer.  When they did answer I would very politely say, "I'm sorry, I seem to have gotten disconnected from your rep on my last call."  Then I would calmly say, "It sounded like he said not to call anymore which is odd because I'm returning your 8 phone calls to me.   I just need some basic information."   They would hang up and I would call back and go all over it very calmly and politely.  

I SUGGEST ALL OF YOU.....ALL OF US CALL THIS NUMBER AS MANY TIMES IN A ROW AS YOU HAVE TIME FOR AND DO THE SAME THING....VERY POLITELY ACT LIKE THERE WAS SOME DISCONNECTION AND THAT YOU'RE JUST WANTING MORE INFORMATION.

I need this to stop. I have gotten over 50 calls in the last two days from this number. I put this number on my reject and they still call....so frustrated.  What do I do?

These people called today leaving a message that I needed to return the call immediately concerning a pending law suit against me. I called after reading this website and noting that the exact same message and same name of the caller. I called them and they said it was concerning a payday loan and when I asked how I received the loan they said into my bank account. They hung up immediately when I told them I didn't have a bank account. What a SCAM!!

John Dallas and his supervisor Richard Addison called about some bill saying I owed money. I explained to them this phone number of 814-347-2005 was reported all over the internet. I told him the phone number was being recorded as we were speaking and the call ended. Report this phone number as a  scam and report it to the Governor and State Attorney's Office. They are of India accent how dare them to get our jobs in telemarketing and get our information and use it against us, Please tell anyone you can to report them and get this stopped, immediately!!!!!! It has to stop!!!

I just got the same phone call. these people are crazy. I have tried calling the number back and  now they want answer it  scam!!!1

These people keep calling about a payday loan I never took. Say they are from Roger Smith law firm and have I have spoken with a John Davis and Edward Green. Loan is supposed to be from Amercan payday. Say I have to pay them or appear in court but can't give me any court information and have never sent anything in the mail.

I believe this is a total scam but have no idea how to stop them. I'm just going to tell them to get lost and hang up from now on.

The mid eastern idiots called me the first time and left a message on my phone,i could nt wait to here from them again, they called today ,and i told them i know where you are and what your doing and if you keep calling me and gonna find you and cave your head in with a bat, plus i used a lot more words that i wont say on here.so far they have not called me back ....it felt great to do that.i recommend every one try it..because theres nothing they can do about it......

Round two for me too. Been over a year since the first set of calls. How do they find us?

This same company has cursed me out when I called them on the carpet and told them they were a bunch of scam artists.  They hung up on me 5 times and finally stopped answering the telephone.  When pressed for their address they said it was 3010 jewel st. in Philadelphia.  This address does not exist.  I informed them they were being recorded and they did not like that.  You have to turn the table on scam artists like this.  I called them every 5 minutes and they said I was harassing them.  Never let someone scare you into giving them money.  If they are legitimate, then they will provide you with all of the necessary information that you owe.  These people are scam artists and do not be afraid of them.

I BLOCKED this caller number 814-347-2005, along with -2006 and -2007.  They still call using a computer to recall in seconds after my blocking software disconnects them immediately.  It's fun to watch them in real time get blocked and then try to call again, just to get blocked again!  Check 800notes.com for entries on the other 2 numbers they call from.  I love the info sharing here at 800notes.com!

Now i am really mad.  I have now been scammed by them for over 5000.00. I want my money back

They call a left a message that I owe money pay it or get a lawyer

I am receiving calls from this number at work. I am a police officer and I don not need this harassment. I have been getting calls on my sons cell phone also changed his number and somehow they have gotten the new number. I want these calls to stop. I have filed a complaint with the FBI, and the Arkansas Attorney General. They are threatning action on something I know nothing about. I want it stopped.

No one can stop them.  Just ignore them.  They CANNOT take you to jail and if they were going to take you to court they would be doing that and not calling you threatening to do it.  Don't even pay attention to them.  I make it a practice not to answer my phone unless I know who is calling.

I actually contacted an Attorney about these people because they keep calling and threatening me with criminal charges and I dont even know who they are and he said, "THEY ARE A SCAM".  I also filed a report with the State Attorney General's Office and received a letter stating that unfortunately there is nothing that they can do.  They also stated that IF this was a legitimate bill collector that upon my request they must send me written documentation regarding this debt.  I literally got a call from these people just moments ago and as soon as I stated "according to the State Attorney General" they hung up.  I called back six times and was hung up on every single time so I am hoping that they will now remove me from the database as I know they are a scam and I will not be giving them any information and/or money.  As a sidenote, they have been saying that someone is going to show up at my home or job within hours to arrest me and put me in jail for 39 months....they have been saying this for literally 3 months so don't let them scare you.  They have NO power.

I strongly recommend that everyone who receives calls from anyone stating that they are collecting a debt request that something be mailed to your address on file DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR ADDRESS, if they are legitimate they will have this information.  I personally will NOT deal with any bill collectors on the phone EVER.

I just received a call from 814-347-2007 same kind of message you better call back or the lawyer representing you! I called back and they guy that answered said his name was Paul (LOL) I explained to him I did not take a loan from anyone! I said you tried this crap on me three months ago. I told him I was calling the FCC and FBI on him he could not hang up quick enough.

Michael Smith this person calls me constantly at my job, I asked the kindly please not call me at work because I am newly entered and caught my attention because they think I have problems, but as Michael Smith is calling me, gave me this number (814 -3472005) I call and never answer me, what should I do?

A man by the name of Chris Martin from a law firm and for me to return the call when I returned the call I get a busy signal. I wish these calls could be stopped... they are of an Indian accent very poor English language... That is what we get sending our jobs overseas....... Just let these people know you have recorded their phone call and it is being sent to the BBA ( Better Business Association) and you know they are a fraudulent company..... they will hang up real quick......

814-347-2005: These people are harassing me all day long, at work, at home, etc. Making threats that I will be arrested and need an attorney for myself. They had some of my ss# and this is not ok. I don't have any outstanding debts for an online loan. I've been called by all kinds of Martins (Chris, Lewis .etc) and even by their "attorneys" that have "signed affidavits".  I call BS. I don't understand why they haven't been caught scamming people yet. I want to pursue a harassment lawsuit...anyone wanna go in? And what about the poor people that actually fall for it and send these people money?? Someone needs to hang.

THIS IS A SCAM!  One of my friends has been dealing with these lame idiots for quite some time; today, they claim they are a law firm, she owes a debt, and she will be sued if she fails to call back.  Total bullsh**

Usually, they assume the name of famous movie stars, celebrities and even movie characters, which is a bit comical.  Today, the dude was Davey Jones, what a do***e bag.  

These idiots need to move on.  Once you call them on their scheme, the calls do stop, but only temporarily.  Unfortunately, the calls start up again a few months later.  If you are getting these calls you will most likely forever be on their ?list of suckers?.  

These idiots need to get real jobs and stop trying to get unsuspecting people to wire them 'a payment' for a bogus debt.

UPDATE I called the local FBI office and spoke to a very nice lady. I told her about all these calls, and she said they had gotten a call from Jamaica asking for someone. I said I had given them their number because I was tired of them calling.

She told me it wasnt a problem others had done the samething, and one of these days they will slip up and they will catch them.

So when they call tell them the person they are looking for is at work and give them the number to your regional FBI office
