Had the same thing just happen here an hour ago. Called the attorney general and filed a formal complaint. ... Sorry to hear you lost money. I do nothing over the phone. 'f I owe, then prove it in writing' is my theory.

Called several times. Left message on machine .... This call is intended for (so and so) case number (#). .... When I picked up the phone and told him to stop calling and put anything he had in the mail. He replied by saying, "I don't have anything to put in the mailI, I have something to serve him." "Then bring it over! But know there will be an officer behind you!" "That's find, I'll also have backup." ... What? Really. A server with backup. This guy cracks me up.
He continued to argue with me. ... Get real, if he really had something to serve him, why would he call to notify him. What server calls to make sure your home before serving you with papers? Couldn't be to successful in serving papers.
Anyway, "Told him if he really had papers to serve him, then hang up the phone and serve them." "What you say to me!" So I repeated it. His reply, "Then I will be right over!" and hung up. Only to call me back several more times at which I answered the phone and put it on mute.
Did a search on the number but found nothing. So I called the attorney general (which agrees it sounds like the calls I received in the past saying they had papers to serve, then never showed). A formal complaint has been filed.

This man called saying he was gonna serve me with papers in an hour but couldnt give me any other information..I called the 800 number he gave me and the "company" is called huntington i called and asked them what state they were located in they said new york i asked who the governor was and they said they didnt know lol i asked for there address and they couldnt give it to me for "security" purposes yet they want all my info. they did however get 100 dollars from me but never again i changed my card info so they can not get me anymore and i have something for them if they call again!
