Someone keeps calling me.

I KEEP RECEIVING PHONE CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER AND HAVE LEFT A MESSAGE WITH THE NUMBER TO BE REMOVED FROM THEIR LIST.  I WORK ODD HOURS AND THEY DISRUPT MY SLEEP.  IF THE CALLS DO NOT STOP, MY NEXT STEP WILL BE TO REPORT TO DONOTCALL.GOV WHERE MY NUMBER IS REGISTERED.

The continuous calls soliciting my blood make me soo reluctant to donate.  Do NOT call. At this point I am a former donor.

I've picked up a dozen times and they always disconnect on me, not the other way around. This is NCO and its a documented number they call from. Please understand that they are cloning the number of the Red Cross but most people who are getting these calls are getting them NCO. If you keep telling people that its Red Cross but a dozen other people have ended talking to NCO from the same number then I would guess you are wrong and they are right. As I don't imagine the Red Cross likes to hang up on people day in and day out, I believe them to be NCO as well.

I have at least 5 calls a day from this number and have been getting them for months.  It is very annoying and if I was going to donate to the red cross I never will again because of it.

they call me quite frequently, at least 4 times a week. They have called on everyday of the week and anytime between 8am and 8pm. They also never leave a message.

update !!!   hooray, the email worked, just got a very prompt and courteous  response from them and a follow up email saying my name has been removed.   hooray for Red Cross.  I will donate soon but on my initiative not theres.  :-)

yes it is the Red Cross, donated last year and agreed they could call me but who knew they would call everyday including Sunday and sometimes answer and insist on finding a future date that will be good for you to donate when you are sick and can't.   I just went to the home .org site and sent an email. we shall see if that helps,  tired of everyday calls, that is just plain stupid,  is that our donated money paying for the operators?

My wife answered and there was no one on the other end. She waited several minutes.  When she called back, the number wouldn't go through. This happens several times a day. It is very annoying. If it is the ARC, then they should get their equipment in working order. And this is not the number that the ARC normally uses to contact my wife about giving blood.

This number keeps calling my wife's cell phone. When she answers, there is no one there. When she dials the number to call back, it says that the number cannot be dialed. My wife donates blood every year and this is not the number that they normally use to contact her. It's getting rediculous. This happens several times a day.

I tried calling the number back and it says my call can not be completed as dialed....I dialed the number that called me....but I just donated blood so if it is them....they aren't getting any more blood from me for a while

This same thing happens to me!  They've called me five times the past week and there has not been anybody on the other side when i answer!! This is driving me crazy

Also I picked up on time when they called, and it was the Red Cross requesting that I set up an appointment, so obviously this isn't fake.  Just be patient and wait for the problem to be resolved.

Try calling during normal business hours when the Red Cross is open.

The Red Cross occasionally uses third parties as part of their connection process that automatically calls people on their list to remind them to donate.  This usually goes out about four times per year.  If you call the number back, it is in fact the Red Cross.  Right now, they are experiencing a glitch with one of their thrid parties, and a lot of people on the Red Cross Donate list are getting calls by accident.  They are working on the glitch right now and trying to get it resolved.

It's not a debt collector. It's the Red Cross. Answer the phone and tell them to take you off their calling list if you don't want to be contacted about setting up an appointment to donate blood. Then the calls will stop.

The phone number belongs to both a young women age 19 to 24, and a man around 23 to 25 years old. Both white Caucasian average height and weight (bout 180 to 200lbs.)  

It's also a hand held phone and not a wired.

Ive been thinking about skip tracing it back to the provider and then county as they use an erie number based out of the red cross.  Might be fun to track it back then have a nice afternoon chat inside.

You could also look through the logs on ur provider and match it up to the call log on the phone. It would show you the route of the call before it was changed to a fake id.

This number has also called me every day for the last 4-6 weeks. It's got to be a scam since I don't have any outstanding debts. My advice would be to just continue to ignore and eventually they'll stop calling. I had a similar experience 3 years ago and after awhile they just stopped. You could also call your phone company and have them block the number.

Got a call from this number as well, I picked up, said hello twice and then the lone went to what sounded like a busy signal, beep beep beep beep........

This number has called me every day for the last month.So its a debt collector! this is BS! Im still in school, haven't even had to pay back my loans yet. Ughh what do they want!

I agree...no one ever replies when i answer.  Tried calling back - forwarded to American Red Cross, but if it was them initially, either a person or a recorded message would leave a voicemail/talk to me (like they do quarterly from a different number).

The red cross has called my house before and the caller ID shows red cross.   This number repeatedly calls my house, even on Sundays. When I answer, there is no reply  I think it's a scam
