My number is on the "Do not call Govt list" but this firm calls anyway!

Also received call, did not answer, also on Govt do not call list.

I TOO received a call from this number! I DIDNT answer and there was no msg left for me!  I KNOW it was a Telemarketing call or something along the lines! I Also received a call from the number 000 - 000 -0000 Now LAST I KNEW 0 is the OPERATOR! Is this like an operator calling with an emargency instead of 911 they use ALL 0's. I mean 1 ZERO will do and AT LEAST I WOULD KNOW it was someone from the phone company calling for something or another GEE WIZ! Something TO DO NEXT TIME YOU GET A TELEMARKETING CALL or SOMETHING ALONG THE LINES OF: Tell them that you want the to look at a sight on the internet for example: CUTCO.COM and try to sell them KNIFES - tell them you do the same type of work they do and you get paid for every knife set you sell and wehn they try to over talk you - talk over them and keep telling them to punch in the website and look at the knives dont give in and listen to them - they will eventually hang up and they WONT call back! I DID THIS BEFORE :  ) BIG SMILES heehee

i have received a call from this number just now. did not get to the phone in time. when i returned the call i received an automated response that said " the number you have dialed has been changed, disconnected or is not longer in service at this time." really? in the span of no more than 3 minutes? strange.

I just got a call from 814-987-3289 and said hello, there was silence and then a man with a thick indian accent said Hello is this Robin?  and then silence.  Creepy.  When I tried to call it back, it said my call could not be completed as dialed.  The only time I get this kind of message is if the call I am making is an international number or a spoofed number.

i think you will find it is a telamarketing thing.  i recently started a job search and it appears these LARGE job search sites are more interested in selling your info than finding you ajob.  i have had several of these fake numbers, and they all seem to want to sell me onliine education.754-484-3851877-303-4130.  also i did not request info i actually skipped over the pages of advertisement.

I tried to call the number back and operator said call can not be completed as dial, which means to me basically is was a spoofed number, so that number could be coming from any one of a thousand different places. no way to track it because it is a fake number.

I always answer with my name by saying this is Rob. The person said, "Hello, is this Rob?" I heard a lot of sounds in the background like a busy call center. The young man had an obvious fake English Accent, so I did not respond. I just hung up to look this number up. Creepy!

got call answered hello with a silence like there was no line connection then yelled hello and it said in a computer voice goodbye as erie as that was the number is from a town called erie!
