Lady called my cell phone on 4/23/2013 at 4:45 pm. She asked me to verify my address. I asked her what company this was. She stated veri----some thing? She said, we verify fro banks and mortgage companies. I hung up. i did not feel comfortable giving any info about me over the phone not knowing what company was asking for it. Carzy!

Lady was looking for an ex employee. Started to ask do I know where they are. Responded NO.

Got a call at work today.  The lady on the phone first apologized for calling me at work. She then proceeded to ask me to verify my personal address and phone number.  She said that she was a verifcation company updating information for banks, schools, etc.  I asked specifically who wanted them to verify my information and why would she call me at work for this information.  She said that she did not know that information.  I told her that I was not verifying my information as I was suspicious as I have never in my life received a phone call like this.  Upon investigating they are a skip tracing company for bad debts.  They are trying to update their records for collection companies, not for the original creditors for the debt.  Don't fall for their trick, she sounded like it was all so innocent.
