Several of my customers have called me to complain about this number calling. Everyone I have talked to complains that they have been told that their warranty is about to expire , (some are even 2009 model years) They claim to be selling GM Warranty extension. I work in a GM service department , and if this is legit , we have not been brought up to speed on it. I have heard nothing of this program through GM. I am going to talk to my business office.

Just got a call from this number. Nobody talked and than they hung up.

Annoying

They called, tried to tell me about my car warranty expiring. When they asked for the make and model of my car I asked how they knew it was expiring if they didn't know the make and model. They hung up then right after?

Very unprofessional and seemingly just telemarketing crap.

I've received about 15 calls from them, I've pressed two to be taken off.  I've pressed one to yell who ever is calling me.  I've had them take my number down to take off their list and I keep getting the calls.  This has to come to an end soon I can't stand it anymore

This number called me again. This is the 6th time.

Called me at work, but I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the caller ID.  Didn't leave a message.  Glad I checked this site before calling it back.

Ive tried calling the number back, they DO NOT put you on a do not call list. They say when they place you on this list it takes 3 days to update, but unfortunatly its been over 3 weeks.

I've gotten a call at least a few times a week for the last few months from this number.  When I call it back I get a recording that says by calling this number I will automatically be placed on their do not call list.  I wonder when that will be.

... heard only the end of the message after their machine talked through my voicemail greeting.  Female voice saying "don't drive without a warranty" press 1 for an agent, 2 to be removed from their list (kinda late for that).

An update... I called the number back and, as was stated before, an answerer said "we are placing you on your do not call list at this number".

I'm not sure if they mean they will not call from 418-2030 and will call from other numbers or my number was ACTUALLY placed on the company's do not call list. It could mean anything coming from a boiler room operation.

They called from 815 418 2030 and hung up after I answered.

A couple possibilities:

-Calling to find active numbers to later spam the hell out of.
-Hoping to get a female on the phone to spam with auto stuff.

Is it just me or does it seem Illinois is becoming as Montreal for scams?

Just got called from them.(on my Cell long distance!)  They wanted to know the make model and year of my vehicle.  Unsure about who this guy was I asked what company he was calling from, his answer was 'Warranty Services'.  I asked again yes but from what company and where did you get my phone number from.  Again he just answered Warranty services.  Again I asked but what company.  This time the answer was 'I appreciate your concern but lets see if you qualify first'  Again I said tell me what company you are calling from and why are you calling me on my cell phone.  This time he hung up.

pushed 2 the first time, i got a recording that says "the number ___ (didn't say the number, just had a pause like it was supposed to say something) has been removed."  didn't work, they called back two days later.  pushed 1 this time to talk to someone.  after three minutes on hold, the system hung up.  

I have been on the DNC list for 3 1/2 years.

Now they are calling me in BC Canada also...and I have an unlisted tel. number.

In the above report, I should have included the note that the call came to my residence in Alberta.  And yeah - I'm on the CRTC Do Not Call list too.

Typical - the silly DNC only protects you from Canuck companies that feel like complying.  American spammers?  Open season.

Just called my number this morning - when I picked up and said nothing there was nothing but silence for about three seconds.  Then s/he/it hung up.

Car Warranty Scam!!! This company tele # is located in Will County, Manhattan Ill, just outside of Chicago. They call almost every day! When you press "1" you can talk to someone, who will not let you know the name of their company or where they are located. They just repeat the same thing again and again no matter what you ask them! If you press "2" to have your number removed from their list, they just call back again anyways!

My telephone number has been registered with the National Do Not Call List for over 31 days and I still get these calls. I have reported a written complaint to the C.R.T.C. Do Not Call List - (Web Site is https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca). As well I have contacted the CRTC directly with a complaint. They have to respond within 48 hrs from receiving my complaint! I fully expect the RCMP to become involved to stop these scam phone calls!!!

Just received a voice-mail message from that number telling me that this was my "final notice" before my warranty expired.  "Don't be caught driving without a warranty".  This was my third call!  I contacted my dealership after the first call and was assured that my warranty was still valid.  This time I called the number back and was only given the option to be removed from their call list -- no company name, no way of speaking to a live person.  The number traces back to Manhattan, Illinois.  This is definitely a scam.

This number called me every other day recently, usually around noon time.  I never got to speak to a live person on the other side.  But the automated message said that my car warrantie was about to expire.  I recall that a couple month ago, I received a post card in the mail from "Canadian Auto Warranty Services".  So, a quick google search took me to the following link.

It is an American Company.  Their office hour as indicated on the post card is (C.S.T.) or central standard time.  A quick google search on area code 815 indicated that this area code belongs to northern part of Illinois.

So, it seems that there is a very good chance that the two are the same company.

My number has been registered on the Canadian National Do Not Call registry and should have taken effect already.  I am going to file a complaint at https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/index-eng

I am not going to call them back, because they'll then just sell my number to someone else.

I also rec'd a call from this number that this was the 2d phone call regarding the warranty of my car running out.  I did press "1" and spoke with a John.  Told him to take my number off their list.  sounds like a scam to me - the warranty on my car ran out years ago.

same as everyone else - only I had the pleasure of speaking with Lachandre, who couldn't tell me what car they were phoning about (could that be my 19 year old car, or my 10 year old car, i wonder), what my name is, or why i was being called.  she offered to put me on their do not call list.
