This number calls me at least 3 times a day or more. I've answered it before, and asked them to put me on their do not call list anymore. I was getting no harassing phone calls before I put my information on a website looking to get some more info about taking college classes off the Internet. Calls every day around 10 AM. Recorded message that is nearly finished by the time it gets to my extension, so I'm not able to actually hear what the message is about. Caller ID says it is from Rockford, IL.

They call me about every hour and NEVER leave a voicemail.  How do i get them to quit calling me?

Go to the national do not call register on the web. You can block these type of calls to any number you want, like your daughters. If they still call you can go back to the site and make a complaint. I have done this before and it does help. When you file a complaint they ask what day, what time, what was said if you answered and for the number. Its simple and they stop calling you after that. I just got a phone call now from this number identifying themselves as Verizon Wireless. I called Verizon and they told me its a Phishing scam and its not them calling. Earlier today i received the same vm message from 815-209-0190.

transworld systems it is a debt collection, and as the rude lady explained many other things as well they dont care if your on the national do not call list or not.

Called our office. Guy said he needs to verify employment. I put him on hold in order to find out who actually would handle such a request, then when I hit the line button, he had hung up. Never said who he was trying to verify, and we are a law enforcement type agency!!! So, they obviously do not care what numbers they dial.  Will be reporting to our Attorney General's office.

The number 815-516-8767 called and said they worked for verifacts or verify and said they were wondering if I still lived at the same address. They read my address back to me and because I didn't know I said yes. I'm a little worried something might happen.

They are at it again.....but are asking for my daughter...under her new married name....and they know her  new address.......so WHY are they calling me?.I didn't verify any thing just hung up on them.

Women from Verifacts wanting to update personal information on an indivdual. Told her that she was not in postion to ask about someones personal information without their concent.

They phoned my place of work  asking for the last 4 digits of my SS#.  Can they phone my work?  Who are these people?

Debt Collector looking for my ex.

I just got a call from them, no msg.  The previous posts scare me a little, if they call again I will report it to be on the safe side.

I can't remember the name of the company but they reference a debt I had some years ago that was covered in (unfortunately) a bankruptcy also from some years ago.
They had even gone as far to call my aging parents threatening to send the cOpS to their house.

said she was from Verifax checking employment. she Kyle sounded like she just got woken up out of bed.  asked for a name I never heard of ...

I called the number, the lady said she works for Verifax which deals with credit cards and bank records, something like that

This number called my phone and left a message and I just heard breathing and nothing else.  It showed Rockford, IL and I also know nobody in Illinois.

A man claiming to be a private investigator who had pictures of my wife cheating on me. He said for $5,000 he would provide me the pictures.

Caller claimed to be from the American Legion and was raising money for help modify the homes of returning disabled veterans. Line went dead when I told him that I was a member of the American Legion.

I received the same call and let it go to voicemail. The message was similar to the other posts, nothing but backround noise. Another site I looked up had a post where someone said this number tried to pin a bill on them for ordering Adult Movies, one of which was "Party Sheep." Strange that they used the same term for Adult Movies and Inflatables....
