Im a supporter of Smiles they informed me they were having a problem with their phone system and that it would be fixed shortly.  They are a good organization and try very hard to help kids get toys.  I understand where people are coming from but I also understand technology and once in a while there are glitches.  They are a small non profit and they don't have millions of dollars the founder actually fixes everything by himself instead of using our money to pay technicians.  I just thought id add my two cents. They are trying very hard.

We were called from this number moments ago.  A man came on from Illinois and said he was trying to get money for the "Smiles for Kids" program..... supposedly a program to buy toys, etc. to put smiles on children's faces of terminally ill children in hospitals.  I was suspicious of this call and since we already give to St. Jude's, I informed him of this, he thanked me and hung up.

A call at 9am on a Sunday, I answer they hang up, I call back they deny making the call. I've seen this # on missed call list other times.
