I got a call from the same number 815.673.1623. No voicemail and when i called back an automated response. Seems like some unknown Harassment company!

Nope. This is Creditors Discount and Audit from Streator, IL. They do mostly medical collection. Ive had a few friends work for them and they do practice questionable tactics. Look them up, talk with a manager, and threaten to report them of they don't know it of. Legally thy cannot call you if you tell them not to and you can report them to the FTC. Make sure they have an address to mail you, though.

It's a nasty collection agency that started last year , Their name is Creditors Discount , Their office is in Streator , Illinois . Very nasty people ! Will lie at every opportunity . Have been known to try and collect debts  not owed !

This number calls over and over, Either there is no one there when answered or they are verbally abusive. i finally answered the phone county morgue they hung up really quick. Love what Daddy wrote above!!

I got a robo-call from them that said:

"We are a debt collector and you owe $110 and have 5 days to pay it."

No company name, no identification of the original creditor, no reference of what that $110 might be for, just "Press 1 to pay by credit card, press 2 to make a payment plan, 0 to talk to a person."

I pressed "0" to talk to a person, got "Valerie" and tried to ask her who/what/why. She wanted my phone number, and I said "Since you called me, howabout you tell me the name of your company first?" She said she couldn't do anything without my phone number, and I said I couldn't do anything without the name of her company, and then we were at an impasse, so I hung up and blocked all calls from the number.

i got a call from 8156731623 and when i answered they said nothing so i hung up and they kept callin back doin the same thing

Left a automated message asking that you press a #? if this is the person at this address, press #? if this is the wrong number or press #? if you can't come to the phone? I've seen on the news where calls such as these are scams and I did not and will not reply.

Yes this is a legit company, Creditor's Discount and Audit, CDA, out of Streator, IL.  You owe someone a debt and they are trying to collect it.  I have found the best thing to do it pay my debts, and the calls and harrassment will stop.  They do have every right to call to get this debt.

sounds like you work for this crooked company. I have perfect credit and get calls for something that has nothing to do with me. I just blocked them from my cell.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure how many times they have been calling since they are calling a phone number associated with a Dog Beach. I am aware of at least 2 times since there have been 2 voicemails e-mailed to the dog beach board. They have been trying to reach somebody named Donna. That person, AFAIK, isn't associated with the dog beach.

these people have been calling me all day every day for weeks!  i've tried to answer, left messages to talk to someone, and no one was ever available to answer my questions as to why i'm being harassed by a computer.  now i know that this fake "credit collector" was trying to get my money for a bill from "the hospital".  no joke, that's what i was told.  these people are ridiculous.  block the number and run

I received a call this morning from them asking me if my birthdate was this and that. I asked them to tell what this is about and they said they would call back. I never answerd her question about my birthdate and  then I asked her to verify her company, she told me the name of the company but I still wasnt convinced that they were legit. She never would explain why she was calling.

I just recently got a new phone and number and they have been calling me 2-3 times a day for the past three days asking for Abby. Pressing option 4 does not work. I'm glad that I have an unlimited plan with my phone otherwise I would be calling them back and telling them to stop harrassing me since I do not owe anything.
