Luifegivmoment calls despite my being on Nat Do Not Call list (seems to be a worthless list).  I said I was on another line. Caller waited, and then hung up on me when I answered the ring that came on when I hung up from my real caller.  I only interrupted my real call because I was waiting to hear if neighbor needed a ride to ER..

By the way, I now encourage marketers to buy the Brooklyn or Golden Gate bridges.  Only one had sens of humor....others try and break in to say that is not why I am calling.  They do not get it.

Call this morning at 8:35  and not leave any message.Stop calling me again!!

Woman said from lifegivmoments which was on id.  Said it was four questions about what children and grandchildren should watch on tv.  Wanted to have someone else call in a day or so and told her I do not have the time and hung up

robocall from 815-687-8080 caller ID said "ILLINOIS" on Thursday 06-19-14 @ 917 AM

What seemed to be a female caller (or possibly a response driven computer program) asked "for the lady of the house".
I asked her "what do you want her for"
The female's response "well we can speak to anyone in the house".
Asked her "what do you want'.
She asks me "do you think you should have control over what my kids or grandkids watch on TV".
I asked her "I should have what?"
Female said same exact phrase verbatim with no inflection.
I asked her "what about the kids"?
She again responded with the same phrase verbatim.
I asked her "Are you a computer?"
She responded "You are talking to a live person but we use the computer for monitoring quality".
I told her the following "Your grandmother was and expletive, your mother was an expletive and you are an expletive".
I then started blowing the "SCAMMER HORN"
Gave her a few more expletives and then checked to see if she was still on the line and the line seemed blank so
I said "Are you there, Areyou there, dont go away mad, dont go away mad.
The female then unmuted her end so I immediately told her she was a expletive and started giving her the
"SCAMMER HORN" until the disconnected sound loudly came on the line.

Call came in at 8:23 a.m.  thought it was illegal for telemarketers to call you at that time.
I don't keep my phone with me most of the time
especially in the morning and it is my home phone.

Bottom line, don't answer!   Don't push 1.  Don't call them.   They are scammers and just want to know a working number, which if you answer lets them know.   They sell your info to other scammers nd you get twice as many calls.     Don't answer!   Don't try to talk to them, it's useless.

You can also use computer software and a smart modem to monitor/block calls.  I use PhoneTray (TraySoft) where I can block out entire area codes or even things like numbers that end in "0000"!  PhoneTray also generates their own telemarketing list that will automatically block known telemarketing numbers!
Don't get mad - Get even!  The annoyance calls in my house have dropped off significantly since using this software.  I started out with Telemarketing Blocker (KenGolf), which is still free, and was so impressed with the science behind it went for the gold!

So tired of these calls. ID says lifegivmoments. I never answer and they never leave a message.

Organized crime, calling looking for an easy mark to scam.  Number is now blocked, but they keep calling nearly every day.

they call with this garbage about taking a survey on parental controls. When they asked me if I thought smart phones and computers needed to have a rating like videos...that's when I was certain it was a scam. Don't answer!

I just answered yes and now I am concerned about that......

A woman said it was a petition to sign to keep children from watching unrated things on the Internet

Just got a call from here, asking for my father. I said "I BEG your pardon?" and the woman said, defensively, "Just so you know, this is Betty calling from Life Giving Moments!" So I replied "I hope you have some ability to give life, because my father died in 1998!" I'm reporting them to donotcall.gov, though if they're not trying to sell anything I guess it won't be too helpful.

Funny. She wouldn't shut up because she's a computer.

Robo call sounds like a real person, asks me if I think I should have control over what my kids or grandkids watch on TV. I say this sounds like a dumb survey. Very long pause while the computer reboots.  Then it repeats the same question. I give the same answer. Very long pause again. Computer thanks me for my time and hangs up.

Said they were doing a survey and when I said I had no children or grandchildren under 15, they hung up on me.  So Annoying.  At least they should check the Do Not  Call List.

For a call from the these people at 9:15am she asked for me by name I said I was unavailable I said may I take a message she said this is Ashly I ll call back later and hung up

Same thing just happened to me and she said her name was Ashly does anyone know who they are

Try this when they won't stop calling:  I answer the phone with something like, "hey a****ole, what's up? Still can't find a real job?' or just start cussing....although I don't normally cuss a lot, I found that when it comes to calls and people like this, I have no trouble whatsoever.  The calls stop for a time, about a week, but since the do not call thing doesn't work and I don't know how to block them, I pick it up and begin to let off steam and rant away~! Insult them, harass them back, leave nasty nasty messages...it has worked for others scammers...you just never know huh....

Just got a call from Amanda at Life Giving Moments. Wanted me to take a survey on how television impacted young people. I tried to tell her we didn't have any "young people" but she just kept talking. Finally told her to "shut up" and told her not to call back again. Very annoying people! Whatever they are selling I would not buy it because of their attitude.

A Google search revealed the name of the President of Life Giving Moments: Ann Church of Santa Fe, NM according to her Linked In profile (www.linkedin.com/pub/ann-church/0/a01/756). I suggest we fight fire with fire. Perhaps an email campaign via Linked In to Ms. Church asking her to take a survey about annoying robocallers who invalidate their charitable organization exemption from the Do Not Call Registry by spoofing their phone numbers.

Just called i didn't answer. They have called before life giving moments and would not talk to  me wanted husband.  Also i changed my phone remote answering as i believe they route phone calls this way. Thats why they want you to push 9 for call forwarding.

I received my first call from this scammer last night. The ID showed "LIFEGIVMOM". Somehow the caller asked for me by my first name. I made the mistake of saying yes and she started into her spiel about conducting a survery and I immediately hung up. I usually don't answer any call that I don't recognize but I guess I wasn't thinking straight. I agree with everyone who says this scam calling is getting ridiculous. I probably average 5-6 calls per day, sometimes more. Fortunately I found a portable phone system that allows me to block up to 250 numbers. Once blocked I never hear the phone ring when a blocked number calls. It is certainly worth the $90 it cost.

Just got a call from a very pushy, fast talking lady from Life Giving Moments named Amanda with Stepping Stone Entertainment.... She had asked for my Husband and when I said he was busy she was more then happy to ask me the four questions for this survey. No mater what my answer or question was she would try to change my words and push you to press 9 at the end to say was for the potition they have on control for children ratings on what they watch or use on phones or online. I told her she as changing the words I just said, and  I would not push any numbers for her. She was just acting like I never said this and saying how she knows I agree with everything and I should just sign this by pressing 9. I ended by hanging up on her as she was still ranting about how I agreed and needed to sign.

No message left. Caller ID said "Lifegivmoments". SCAM organization.
