This really is AARP renewal. I dont think we can leave VM in any state. One nice part about calling and sending an invoice is catching ID before members have any idea.

Have been receiving multiple phone messages from a "telemarketer". saying they are from AARP. Asked them not to call me anymore and hung up on me. Called AARP Roadside Assistance and told them they should not be giving out my phone number and if it didn't stop I would cancel my policy.

I've been getting a couple of calls from this number every day, and no message is left. I finally called the number back today, it is indeed for AARP Roadside Assistance, which I do have (a much better deal that AAA). The person said that they were legally prohibited from leaving messages (my wife's a lawyer, she had no clue about that), I nicely as possible tore them a new one, we agreed the next call would cause me to cancel the service, and my renewal would be done only by mail as usual. Jeeeesh!

They would call and never leave a message. I finally called back and it is an AARP Roadside Assistance number. The lady I spoke to was extremely friendly when I explained no one in the house had that service and promised to put me on a do not call list.
