Creditors do this all the time in an effort to reach someone who owes money.  If they can't get ahold of the person who holds the debt, they call the neighbors in an attempt to either get additional contact information OR to shame the person into calling the creditor back (how embarrassed would you be if your neighbor approached you to say, "Hey, your bank called us because you are behind on your loan/bills..."?

Wish these mother f****rs would stop calling my number. I have nothing to do with these c***suckers . this is a new number and I have given it to no o9ne. I have no business with this f****ng bank....

This is indeed Commerce Bank, who I do bank with. They called and left a message stating that I needed to call their security department and reference a call ID number that they left. I did, and they were basically just checking on a purchase I had tried to make online with my credit card with them, as the biller was out of France and I live in Missouri. The purchase had encountered an error and I didn't believe it had gone through, but apparently it was pending, so they simply kept it from going through, as I had already completed the purchase on a different card after the initial error.

I just received a call from a Commerce Bank representative from the above number returning a call to answer a question and immediately received an unknown caller call when I returned the call the message was "I'm sorry the number you called is not in service."

I just got a call from them and it was an older woman saying "funny ring- funny funny funny ring"
If that is commerce bank- that is extremely unprofessional.

Just received about ten calls at five minute intervals. Picked up and heard the fax noise. Tried to block the number and sprint pretty much
told me to f*** off.

They called and wanted to let me know that they had put a hold on my card.  Someone had stolen my card number.  I thanked them.

Commerce bank at 816 234 2000 called and wanted me to get hold of my neighbor who they called by name correctly and have him call them.
They gave a call back number of 1-800-440-9829 Ext 7258 and ask for Stacy.
Who in hell ever heard of a bank that contact the person's neighbor?

I received not one but TWO calls from this number 5 minutes apart. AFTER telling them the 1st time no such person they call back. USING MY CELL PHONE MINUTES, which i don't appreciate. Stop calling after the 1st time. When i say i don't know the person or this is the wrong number. THEN ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

They told me wrong number when they called.

Just called the # and it was Commerce who answered

Got a call on my cell, took 2 hellos to get anyone to speak and then they asked if this was Shannon and I told them they had the wrong number since I didn't recognize the number and assumed since it took 2 hellos it was a telemarketer.  I am not a Commerce customer, so I don't know if I believe that it was Commerce or not or if they were trying to sell.

Just received this call on my CELL PHONE, they left a message asking me to call them. I've never heard of them, obviously I'm not going to call.

Two minutes later my wife's cell phone rang...guess who?

Just received a courtesy call from this number.  It was a Commerce Bank Business Accounts representative.  He wasn't selling anything just wanted to know if I had any questions or if there was anything he could do for me.  He said they like to check up on their business customers periodically.

just got a phone call asking for mr thompson. my last name is not thompson, yet i used to live on thompson street. i think this was a "list call" and the person got confused on the last name as many do. anywho i am registered on a NO CALL list. so i would appreciate  no more calls.
