Did not answer. Called 6 times today..throughout the day.

Same here, I answer and they hang up. Next time, I'm going to answer as Officer Dayton and see if the calls continue. But I will consult a legal friend of mine and see what trouble I would get in if I filed to have the number traced.

People I'm on the no call list too and it DOES work. The people that follow the rules don't call us, but the ones pulling scams WILL call. What do they care?

I have received numerous calls from this number. The last time I received the call, I picked up the phone, didn't say anything and immediately hung up. I have not received any more calls since then.

Here's a simple clue. If the name doesn't appear in the caller ID box, don't answer. If nobody answered, these calls would stop. It's you people who do anwer that perpetuates this kind of thing.

The NO CALL list applies to legitimate callers. Since these people who are calling don't adhere to the NO CALL list, it stands to reason they are less than honest. It' s like the old saying, "When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns". You think a shyster company is going to pay any attention to NO CALL? If you do, I have a great deal for you on the Paseo Bridge.

The only way to stop this crap is to ignore it and never answer a number you don't know or won't display a caller's name in the caller ID.

I was just called by this number and picked up because of the area code being in my area. I concur that the female speaks broken English. I asked her several times what country she was calling from. You could hear other muted chatter in the background (no doubt other telemarketers) After my persistence in telling her I could not understand her she finally said she was calling from Nevada and she was 1/2 Filipino. I ended call at this point.

3 calls from this #.  First time I answered, could hear background noise but no one talked.  Next 2 times I did not pick up.  I dialed the # from a landline with a blocked caller Id and a woman answered, Indian type accent, said a name and company I couldn't understand.  I asked her to stop calling and she said thank you and hung up. My guess is telemarker. I called back again.  "SDS Home security".

I am on the state and federal do not call list...they just keep calling

They just called tonight.  Posing as a security company with a woman speaking who is not that familiar with our language.  I told them to never call here again.  They are definately up to something.  My guess would be casing houses for burglary.

Keep getting calls from this number. It is a bogus company that accesses personal info from phone records.

I have seen this number multiple times, at all hours of the day, on my caller ID.  I did answer once, since it is a local number, and could hear background noise but no response so I hung up...don't answer this number any more.

I have noticed since I switched to the Magic Jack system, the calls from all unsolicited numbers have increased dramatically....I agree the MO No Call List is worthless.

I got the same thing just now. Thought it was someone else calling and picked up. All I heard was a noisy background (like a call center) and finally someone said Hello, in broken English, and asked for me by name. I could not tell what company he said it was for but asked me if I had a home security system and would see if I was "qualified". Apparently all it took was me saying I did not have a security system and wah-lah, I was qualified. Said that they were doing "marketing"and all the equipment, etc would be free of charge. As he was transferring me to a supervisor, I hung up.

Really tired of getting these phone calls.  It shows up on caller id as a local number so I answer it when I do I can hear background noise, but no one will answer me.  We are also on the no call list which anymore just seems like some kind of joke.

Claims to be with a company called First Defense.  I told them we are on the no call list and to stop calling.  We'll see...

This number called..no one answered when I said hello.  Called back and let them have it..used an old lifeguard whistle..then  hung up.  they haven't called back again

This number has called repeatedly for months. They never left a message so I blocked them. Now it rings once, then disconnects them but they keep trying and trying and trying. Sick of telemarketers. DNC is a joke.

It was a "local" area code number and I answered it before checking my "master" list -- I was passed to a supervisor who asked if I was the homeowner, how am I this evening, do I have a security system, how old is it, etc,  When I didn't respond to all their questions (after saying yes that I do have a security system) they hung up.  This is a telemarketer who is using a "local" telephone number to solicit business. This is the twelve time that they have called me since 10/30/2012.

Calls several times and since it appears to be a local number, I answer the call. Usually talking is going on and when I say hello for the third time they try to switch to a professional tone and ask if I can hear them. That is when I hang up. Apparently, they are robo dialed in and have no idea we can hear them long before they can hear us. It definitely appears to be an overseas operation and not legit. I am on no call lists and this is a violation. They have been reported, but the number is an alias, so no real action will be taken as they cannot pinpoint the company or origination is my guess.

This number has been calling almost everyday and it's always several calls when they do call. I have an answering machine with Caller ID so I don't pick the call up. It shows up as Unknown Name on my Caller ID.

These folks call several times a day, will not respond if I answer the phone.  Who can stop this????????????

calls many times a day for weeks now. Who is this?

This number has called and asked for my husband by name, when I said he was not avaible, a woman with not so good English, said she would talk to me because I sounded like a homeowner (what does a homeowner sound like?).  Anyway, she went on to talking about installing a home security system and asked if I already had one?  Just a very strange call.  Do Not give these people ANY information!!!  I hung up and said I wasn't interested.  When I tryed to call the number back same thing as other people have posted it rang about 30 to 40 times and then just hung up.  SCAM!!!!!

This number has called me a LOT.  The guy, with not so good English, started on a speech about me being a homeowner and after a short silence, hung up.  I just tried calling the number back.  It rang about 50 times and someone picked up and hung up the phone.  These people are annoying and need to be stopped.

This number has called me over and over and over.  All hours of the day.  I answered yesterday to hear talking in the back ground.  Not English, but another language and not to me to another person in the room.  I couldn't get them to talk to me.  I am very tired of this and would like someone to shut this down.  It's been happening for months.  Also, it seems to be some Level 3 communications, when I google them.  
Can someone do something?
