If this is the troopers calling - DON'T FALL FOR THEIR BS - Because it's NOT really the Missouri State Troopers. They call and pretend to be a charity and then when you generously agree to give...oh wait - hope you thought $100 was fair. I offered $20 and the guy got real chilly - but then got even nastier when I wouldn't give a credit card #. Then pressured me to send the money today - so I didn't forget!! Cuz I'm 48 and not capable of remembering anything. Overall - I got such a shady treatment I did NOT send a DIME! Oh and my uncle was a state trooper - highly decorated one in fact - so I don't dislike this org. but I am embarrassed if the caller really is representing them.

This guy said he was from the Missouri Troopers Association. Started with some BS about how you should always pull over for a cop on the side of the road and I didn't let him continue.

Called my home number today. I had seen the number on caller id before. I answered. Guy could not pronounce my last name so I said "If you can't say my name then you don't know me. Please do not call this number again" and hung up.

I got the same thing as someone else stated! Hold music then advertisement that said "Since you are calling from a cell phone push one for options to win money". (That was interesting because I called from my land line). Then they said hold for a representative and then it just hung up and went to dial tone. So stuid!

asked for husband. said not ava...asked if could take msg. girl laughed and hung up. tried to call back. got automated hold music and ads and then disconnected.
