They've been calling me 5-10 times a day for about a month and a half now.  When they first started calling, I answered but told them not to call me during the day because I was at work.  Well, they didn't honor that request.  I get a call about every 1 1/2 hours during the day.  They are also calling me from 816-389-5370 & 816-389-2559.  This is bordering on harassment.  I get calls at all times of the day and even as late as 8 p.m.  I called back today and got an operator.  I told her to please take my name off of their list because I was uninterested.  She said "well, we've got you in the computer as wanting more information about our public relations program" to which I replied "no ma'am, that was not me.  i am not interested.  please remove me from your list."  She said she'd have to verify my name & phone number before she could put me on the no call list.  We'll see if this works....

Got a hang up call this morning.  Answered on 2nd ring, party on the other end hung up.  I am a "charter member" of DNC list!

I use caller ID and don't answer these calls. I also use a recording that is very rude and tells the caller to take my number off their lists.

I am also getting regular calls from John McDomenk - now from 1-760-526-8146.
I am not going to take any actions remembering that any fight is futile.

from John McDomenk. I was curious to who this might be so I looked this up on th web and guess what - this guy/company has been doing these calls on a very wide basis.
Something needs to be done about this!
Any suggestions?

i'm on the do not call list, seems to not be working to well.

There was a caller that did not leave a message and the name was John McDomenk. I googled the name and found this site. I do not know this person either, and the number that showed up on our caller id is 706-526-8130.

This number keeps calling 760-526 8133 does not leave massage. i'am on do not call list and can not figure what good it is if it's not controled?

I think I might call them then hang up.

This person calls...Leaves no message. Hmm..They better not call again...Not with me fixing to give birth...I'll tell em off.

Yea...Who ever this is...Needs to stop calling. Unless they want a law suit.

Got Call at 6:55 did not answer casue I never do unless I know the number, no Message left. Glad I didn't answer

This is the number that came up when I searched JOHN MCDOMENK. But not the number on my caller ID. I wonder if they've changed their number.

Yeah I received a call from Mr. "John McDomenk", Phone# 816-389-2550 7/16/2007 @ 19:50.  My guess is, since so many people are having trouble getting much in the way of verifiable information from the sellers on the other end, this is likely a scam of some sort.

Called, but left no message.

This number keeps showing up on my caller ID, but no message left. Others report that it is someone selling carpet cleaning from Kansas City, MO (even though I live in FL).

These jerks keep calling my house, I called the number back and got a telephone recording asking me to enter my telephone number for their don't call list, So I did!  I hope they don't call back!

This person was calling me about air-conditioning service . This is a SCAM!  I am also on the don't call list, I have been on the list since it became available in 2003. If I wanted air-conditioning service I would call some one in my local town not someone from another state !

Received a call while eating Dinner twice in one week,I taught a call from relatives from out of state,no answer on the other end.Where they got my phone nos.even I'm in Do Not Call List...next time I will hung up on this telemarketer....

BTW - I've received at least 6 calls from these people.  (see my prior post).  This one just really made me angry.

They've called several times and I don't pick up.  But they leave a message that says press 8 if you don't want to be on their list.  I've been on National do not call registry since 2003.  These people think they've found a way around the system.  Since I have digital phone that's free long distance, I called the number.  It's a recording sayind 'If you want to be off our list, put in the telephone number" and then asks you to verify.  If you're on the do not call list, why should people make a long distance call to get off some telemarketers list.  The think that irks me is it's a carpet cleaning company and I have all wood floors NO CARPET.  I reported them to the the do not call feds.  As if they'll do anything...but I'm hopeful =)

Got a hang-up call, when I answered on 2nd ring.

Damned call and hang up's.  Filed two complaints.  One with the FTC and the other with the FCC.  If i get another call i'll do the small claims fast file availble in this county.  Hey...it's worth $500.00 (min) for my time :)

Answered the call, listened to the message, pressed 1. A woman answered.  I mentioned that I was on the national and state do not call lists.  She hung up.  I reviewed my Caller ID over the past week found two other calls from them.  Filed a complaint with FTC.  Fat lot of good that will do.  :(  

Looks like a few complaints in FL.  I also noticed there is a complaint about the number one higher 8163892549, also about carpet services, but a different name.  I'm about to drop my home phone and use only my cell because of this crap.

I have received several calls from this number and continue to get no messages, hang ups and the likes.  When I called the number back it led me to a message that stated if I wanted to be removed to enter my number and then press one.
It is registered on my called id to John McDomenk as well.

This is the second time this week that I have received a call from "John McDommenk" and I have no idea who this person is except they never leave a message and I too am on the DO NOT CALL list.

Received the second call from this number - first time they left a message from a carpet cleaning business.  Second time I picked up - they hung up on me.  I am also on the do not call registry.  They've got some nerve.

Received two calls from this number. once at 8pm and the second a week later at 2pm. The phone rings but they don't leave a message or answer.
