Have been calling every 4 hours for the last 2 days - could almost set my clock by the frequency. No one on the line if I attempt to answer; no message left on voice mail. It is a waste of my cell phone minutes and also my time. I see others comment that this is a telemarketer. Others say its a Shell Oil company. Am on a do not call registry list.  Do not have that card. How to stop the calls?

Definite scam. Somehow knows your account information but definitely not from your credit card company. Try's to make you tell your information over the phone. I refused and hung up.

4-6 telephone calls a day, never ;eaving a message and when I do answer they ask for Deanna who is not here.  I tell them she is not here and they hang up only to call again the next day, multiple times.  Why is this being allowed to go on for years?  What can be done to report and STOP this interruption to my day?  Maybe the BBB...

They called this morning @ 8;15 a.m. I answered the phone and there was no one on the other end. Perhaps trying to figure out if this a live number?

This is the first line of "missed payment due date" calls.  If you have a credit card with ANYONE - this service calls when you have missed your payment.  They are calling on behalf of the company but they are NOT a collection agency.  Supposedly it is a "friendly reminder" when you have "overlooked" your payment.

This number called my husband to let him know he was late on a payment on his citi card.

Just got a call to my cell from (816)420-4632/Kansas City, MO number i missed the call no messages left....thanks for all this feedback so we know who's scamming us....

i received a call from 816-420-4632. they left a message for me to call some other 800 number in reference to my citi credit card.  I then called the actual customer service number printed on my citi card to find out what was going on.  I was told that citi card DID NOT INITIATE the call.  I gave them the number the original card came from and they noted my account  mentioning this incident.

This number keeps calling me as well. I also get calls from other numbers and I thin that a hacker has got into my phone using this number. Sad thing is, I think it is someone I know. Is anyone else worried they are being recorded or their info is being stolen off their phone?

Got a call from this number. Did not answer it, Googled the number, it brought me to this website. Read the reviews, blocked thid number.

Harassing phone calls

I have no Citi Bank credit card. These people call up to five times a day and leave messages for me to call back right away.  Its the same recorded voice each time.

I recieved a call stating credit card was more than 30 days past due and did I want to settle it over the phone, an obvious scam to get your information, please do not fall for it.

Every time I answer they ask for someone not here, and when I *69 to redial I get a fast busy signal.

I'm receiving phone calls from 816-420-4632 from MO, USA.  They do not leave a voicemail message.  Since I don't recognize the phone number, I don't answer.  If this is a legit call, they would leave a voicemail message to return the call.  My guess it's a phone scram from someone offshore.

If I get one more call from this number I will scream.  They call 3 X a day and I have autopay on my Citi card and even get verification from them directly.  Can 't the gov't do something about these scammers.  I am on the do not call list.  I stopped answering numbers I don't recognize or that say UNAVAILABLE a long time ago.

same thing here they call 3 to 4 times a day and never leave a message. I have never tried to call back. How do you block these nubers from calling a cell phone. my cell phone number is on the do not call registry for over 2 years now, should I report it with the do not call registry?

Caller Claims they are from  to  be  from  CITI Bank   --  Caller  ID  has number and  CITI on phone  screen.  Claim that one of your  CITI credit  cards  is  overdue  and  want you to pay  it on  phone  --  Have been  receiving  call  from  this  number  monthly from,   same  number --  Sometimes  caller  has foreign  accent   other  time   speaks  good English --  You would  think  with   NSA , CIA  and  rest of  the  alphabet  soup  that  some  one  could  shut these  scammers down  and  find  a nice   cell  for  them  to  occupy

In response to the people who think this is legitimate, why do you need Citibank to call you about your overdue bill? I don't have an acct with Citi, but I can pay any bill online without  a "representative" calling and asking for sensitive information. Credit card fraud is up over 92%. Use your head. Don't give out sensitive info over the phone. Take care of your bills YOURSELF online and keeping an online receipt.

GOT 2 CALLS IN A DAY DIDN'T ANSWER.

I got a bunch of calls from this number.  It turns out that my citi bank card was past due. This card has not been used for years,  so I new something was wrong.  It turned out to be a yearly fee for the card that was charged.  Im glad I didn't listen to some advice on this number.  I got it fixed and life is good.

Dumbaaa

Had 3 calls this week from this number, with caller ID reading CITI.   The callers, all different, have asked for the same person all three times, someone we don't know.   We keep telling them that, and they keep calling.   They never tell us why they are calling.

Got a phone call in fact a few of them... called ID says CITI.. they leave no message when answer machine picks up.. I called back the phone number they wanted my phone number and account number.  I do not have credit cards.. They
said they handle many accounts, well I have no accounts with credit cards.  It is not Citi Bank or anything like that it is
a scam I believe they want info.  Stop calling you will not get anything from me.
