I am also on the Do Not Call List and these calls keep coming. I have not answered the calls one reply said it was a heavily foreign accent and they hung up immediately. I believe this is a Telepest call and that's a cell phone number being used overseas for some kind of thievery!

This number is from a political group called the "Presidential Coalition".  As you might guess they're hitting people up for money.  I really don't know if they're legit or not.  My opinion is not.  If you're legit and don't have anything to hide why do you use a caller id such as "IMPORTANT".  Only people with nefarious agendas hide behind false labels.  I'm a conservative leaning person, but these inconsiderate blobs aren't making a friend out of me.  Twice a day phone calls from them.  

Hey, Presidential Coalition, stop being a pain in the posterior.  Respect people's privacy.  

Gee, aren't all us Florida citizens glad we have the DO NOT CALL LIST.  I mean, George Putnam, the Secretary of Agriculture is all over this problem - NOT!  It must be real embarrassing to work for the Fla. Dept. of Ag. "do not call list".  These two-bit hustlers are putting a whompin' on the D. of Ag. sooooo baaaad.  Makes these state officials look like wet behind the ears computer kids.   I think they should all resign in shame.  

Maybe ex Fla. Dept. of Ag. employees designed the Obamacare website.  You think, same crappy results.

These IDIOTS have called 2-3 times a day for the last week.  I do not answer, but am so tired of them using my telephone number.  They need to be stopped, but Dip Sticks or Ding Bats or Idiots evidently just do as they please.

Have received calls from this number, but I do not know anyone in Kansas City, so have not answered.  They need to stop calling my number, so reporting it.  Very annoying to be called by some idiot that I do not know, so I want the calls to stop.

Judging by the other calls, they've at least changed the caller ID name.  Didn't answer this one either!

Same stuff, different day.  Called at 9.31a on 1/27/14 to tell me ....nothing.  I don't get it, why not leave a message?  Caller ID for what it's worth is "Kansas City  MO".

Called our mid-FL landline at 12.44p on 1/26/14.  Since no message was left, the call was pure harassment.  Caller ID reads "Kansas City  MO".

Called our mid-FL landline at 3.39p on 1/24/14.  They left no message, so I guess their only intent is to harass. Caller ID reads Kansas City MO.

Since NSA monitors all phone calls, I'd like for them to supply the names, home addresses, home phone/cell numbers of these scammers.  We could then make the "do not call list" more relevant to them.

Thanks for the head's up on a newer Panasonic with more blocking capability.  I have the 30 blocked number version and it's just not enough for the spam calls I've been getting.  Will look into updating.  (sigh)  I have an unlisted phone number too, so these have to be robo dialers.  Mine also showed as "Important."  Right........

Tired of running to the phone with no one there when I answer

They have been calling the last several mornings at 8 am as others have reported.  They are now blocked, but will look into the phone another reported as being an excellent phone that will even block the ring.  When they call the ID says, Kansas City, MO.  These calls are very annoying!

We've gotten 4 calls from this number always in the 0900 hour. The CID says IMPORTANT, but they hang up when the machine comes on.  IMPORTANT? Not so much, I guess!

Buy a Digitone Call Blocker. It's about $100. Programming is reasonably straight forward. Works great.

Got the call this morning. The caller id on my phone said
IMPORTANT

I will never answer a call with caller-id of "IMPORTANT".
Adding that number to my call blocker device.
