I've been receiving calls from telemarketers & apparently collections.... when I don't recognize the numbers, I do not answer! If its a # thats not a "800" series, then I *67 it to call back & see who's calling me. I never call any of the 800 #'s back, as they can always see whos calling even if u try to hid your #.
I've received many calls thus far from the same 816 # (816-659-1194) as well as sev other #'s from this CBE group. There is also a CDE group doing collections, they never left a msg.
I do not owe anyone $$, shouldn't be in collections so they either are scam artists or they have my info mixed up w/someone else! I do tell ppl I'm on the do not call list, so do not call again & make sure its noted. I love the whistle blowing in their ear idea, plan on doing that one!

Calls at least once a day, doesn't leave a message. The couple of times I answered, there was just recorded music playing.

This is a bill collector; they're calling my cell # looking for someone I never heard of. The guy must have had the number before me. I informed them that I've had the number for at least 2 years so their records are quite old. They deleted my number as a lead on this guy and I'll receive no further calls I presume.

They started calling at 9 this morning and has already called 4 times and it is just 2pm.

CBE Group listed on caller ID. The phone number is 816-659-1191 when you answer a recording asks you to hold the line because there is important information you need to know.

My parents in upstate NY keep getting a call from this number. It rings a few times and then hangs up. They are not sure what they want. This number calls numerous times throughout the day.

called here at11:20 pm ! I thought that was outside the parameters for bill
collector rules .  law suit ?   just keep it up !

I'm with you, they have called from Area Codes 319, 816 and 515.  All the same company CBE Group.

No msg.  Caller ID=T ANSWER DON.  Or unscrambled DONT ANSWER.

they call me all day. on caller id it says t answer don. when i did answer no one there.

CBE group has called my landline telephone 2-3 times per day for the last 10 days. I've answered maybe a dozen calls. Never anyone on the other end! Sometimes I pick up and just get a dial tone (even if its only on the 2nd ring), sometimes there's just clicking noises. Never anyone, no person, no message. If I don't pick up, they do not leave a voicemail. I do have Verizon for both landline and cellular service- both of which are on auto-pay and up-to-date. I do not have any debt of any kind.

Yep I'm in debt. Wih lots of people. Don't care screw this new debtor. Fortunately they're calling my Google Voice phone number and I block all calls from creditors after the first call. I also have the Call Control app so that I can block entire area codes and blocked callers. No option to leave message, the app picks up these calls & hangs up on them, while muting the ringer and removing the call from my call logs.

Problem solved. I leave these comments to spread the word about Call Control. Using the app to shake the creditors has become a normal part of life for me. It ensures the statute of limitations is never reset.

Got call at 9:00AM from same number w/caller ID T ANSWER DON. When I picked up there was a brief silence, then soft ethereal music.  Won't answer in the future.

the caller id which on metropcs is supposed to be the name of the person /co. that pays the bill is "T ANSWER DON" which rearranges to 'DONT ANSWER'  Lol. I didn't.

I am receiving calls from 816-659-1194 a few times a day. I ignore the number. When I looked it up, I see it appears to be for a debt owed to Verizon. I have NEVER been with Verizon. I want the calls to stop immediately. What I'm also finding out is they call from different numbers. A couple weeks ago I was getting calls non-stop all day from a 319 which also comes back to the same company.

816-659-1194 does not stop calling my 87 year old mother's cell phone--she does not have verizon and does not and has not ever been late  on anything because my parents lived debt free--I put in complaint about CBE to FTC/FCC and called CBE to inform them to stop. Noting works to stop these scam collection artists. Here is what they do: call any number to get personal info, then try to collect from you what others owe from debt that is past the date allowed to collect by law. I did not know all this existed or was done until I looked into this. If you get this call or any call from CBE put in a complaint. If enough of us do, maybe something will happen to stop this illegal and annoying activity.

This number belongs to a collection group. Caller ID CBE GROUP. I have told them that on at my number owes anything and they still keep calling. As everyone else has said they call all day long and after the 8-9 PM calling hours stating please hold for one of our operators. I leave the phone off the hook and run there phone bill up.

Number keeps calling me twice daily!

Call all the time and is pissing me off.  They never answer it

it's a collection company they keep calling me everyday I ask them who they are and that work with other collection company.

These idiots called me 12 times in 5 days from the same number. Never left a message. The first time I called nothing would answer. Just called a few minutes ago and was able to get in touch with someone and had them remove me from their calling list. The lady wasn't super polite and their info totally had the wrong name. Here's hoping I never hear from these people again.

This number calls me 3 and 4 times a day, on my cell phone. Have never spoken to anyone. Quit calling me!!

They started calling me a few months ago and they will not stop.  Calls as early as 8 in the morning and as late as 9 at night.  They are calling me on my personal cell phone and I am on a Do Not Call list.  I wish they would stop!!

they need to get a life and stop annoying people, the wrong ones at that....

Various numbers show up on my caller ID as CBE group 4 or 5 times a day. Don't these SOB's ever quit? I don't owe anybody anything!

They have called 2 to 3 times a day. I answer and there is no one there.

An attorney is your best bet. He/she can best advise you as how to handle these calls.
