Received a text "hey ..." (they knew my name). I asked who it was and response was "Do ya use Y! IM?? cause I'm me my username is textchick02." Then they texted again "Omg grr My fone is about to die. :("

I got a text from this number, It just said Hi my name and that was it. I replied who is this, I think you have the wrong number. Then I look it up on line.. I do not answer call I do not know, guess I should treat text the same way.

If you get ANY calls or texts from numbers you do not recognize you SHOULD NOT RESPOND! When you do, even if it is just to query who it is, they know they have a live cell number and will sell that info. You will open the flood gates to unscrupulous telemarketers that don't give a hoot about the National Do Not Call List. Instead REPORT THESE NUMBERS on the FCC.gov site. When enough complaints are received they go after these guys with multi-thousand dollar fines.
