Same call today from Debbie stating not to GPS it an made a late appt. Asked to wear very business wear that covered me, that the salary was 40k/60k. I am glad I came across this site but disappointed because I need a job!  They stated I would be a benefit administrator. She made sure to tell me in the interview when I am asked who contacted me to say it was Debbie.  Wth? What is this place, why is this ok? They are playing a dangerous game with ppl right now in these hard times. But what do they care, THEY HAVE A JOB!

I received a call from Debbie saying her boss Nathan saw my résumé on monster and wanted to know if I was still looking for a job. I told her no but was willing to interview. She gave me an Overland Park address at College/Metcalf. I arranged the interview for 5:45pm, which seemed strange. Then today, I realized I lost the paper with the address and phone number so I looked it up and found this. Guess I'm not going to my interview. Bummer though, I was excited about the increase in pay.

I'm glad I did a Google search on the Oldham group and found these postings. As of Feb. 2013 they are still at it. I received a call from a "Todd" but using a different phone number 913-689-3155. He claimed his boss saw my resume and wanted to know if I was still looking for a job. Interesting he didn't have a copy of my resume and he wanted to know my background. I gave him a brief explanation.  I thought that was odd for him to ask especially since he didn't have a copy of my resume in front of him. He wanted me to come in next week and interview with "Lynn". So glad to read these posts and learn this is a scam. Thank you to all who have posted because I will not waste my time.

I received a phone call from this number but I didn't answer it. The caller left a voicemail about a full-time job but I couldn't understand the name of the company. I always research a company before going for an interview so I have some sort of knowledge about the company. I'm glad I found this site and read the comments. I will not be calling them back now.

I received a call from Sonya last Friday at 2PM. She stated she was looking for a "Justin" at my number, and I told her it wasn't. Then, she asked if I was looking for a job, and offered an interview for me on Monday, the 21st.

The weird thing about all of this is how they don't ever, ever give you last names. The hiring manager was "Joe" and when I called the number I was given, all of the extensions are a first-name basis (including a person named "Sugar.") I asked my mom to give the number a call, and she talked to the receptionist about the company, and the receptionist sounded completely unknowledgeable about who they were-- I was told they sold insurance to labor unions; the receptionist stated that they sold insurance individually for life/health. Also, I'd like to point out that this receptionist sounded the same as the Sonya I spoke to over the phone.

Another reason why I believe this was a scam is because of how easy they were to give me in interview without even knowing my information/job history. My boyfriend immediately stated how he thought this was a scam-- intuition serves him right!

STAY AWAY. Don't waste your time. They will most likely say that they have a job for you and collect all of your personal information. I'm so glad that I googled the company to learn about the company before going to the interview-- this is the first result on google, and it totally saved me a trip to Lee's Summit. If you do decide to go, make sure you put xxx xxx xxxx on the social security section of any paperwork they give you.

I got a call from a Nathan...had the appointment as was told thru the USBC a free AD&D policy as long as I stayed a member.  Tried selling me additional insurance for Life policies which I turned down.  Meantime he had me give referrals...at least 10 to up my AD&D (again free at no cost) from $2,000 to $5,000.  My son contacted me and said both this # and the insurance company come up as Spam.  He called the # and thru a tracking system to different people...this Nathan's name never came up as an option.  I have yet to mail in my info...at this point...don't think I will.  He even presented a letter from the President of our local USBC Chapter with "his" signature on it...question if it's even his...

I received a call today as well for an interview this Monday. They said that they found me from career builder. I was hoping this would be a job that would work out. The interview is in Lee's Summit MO which is an hour drive from where I live. Looks like I should cancel from all the complaints.

I just got a call from Bethany with Oldham Group ALI. I recently updated my resume on Career builder.com and they obviously didn't read my resume like they said they did. They asked if I was looking for full time employment and wanted to set up an interview with me next week.

Thanks for the info. I was just trying to find out where it was. Glad I didn't waste any long distance minutes checking them out.
Same m.o. They saw my resume on CareerBuilder and wanted to know if I was still looking for a job. This was in no way related to anything on my resume. Usually the insurance companies just email.

I received a phone call from them stating they retrieved my resume from monster and when I confirmed I would come out for a interview and I needed directions the woman told me not to mapquest the location because it would give my inaccurate information. That sounded odd, also she told me to bring a resume with me but said previously in the same conversation she had my resume. I'm glad I googled the company or I wouldve wasted my time Monday.

I recd a similar call to set up an interview for a Human Resources Manager. I was told my "Adam" that they were looking to open new offices in the area. I have an interview on Monday, so it sounds like I should cancel. They did not say where they found my resume, but to bring one????

Warren from this company called me, saying he had some "free benefits for the families of union members" for us... and then he dropped my in-laws' names.  My mother-in-law was union but has been retired for at least 7 years.   He said he wanted to "drop off" some info about the benefits... but if you're just dropping off info, why do you need to set an appointment time and give me an appointment confirmation number.

I just called the number and they answered "Oldham Group", although Google says the number is owned by American Income Life Insurance Company of Lee's Summit, MO.   I told them all I knew was the name "Warren" and that I wanted to cancel tonight's appointment.  She said she's "see if she could reach him".

I now believe they have zero to do with my mother-in-law's union... and probably just got their names from somebody else.

I fully expect Warren will call back himself and try to fight to keep the appointment.  No way.    A crappy way to do business... using the names of one's relatives and referring to "Union Benefits".   If these have been union benefits, why wait 7 years in letting everybody know about them?  And if they're new union benefits, why on earth would you extend them to EXTENDED family members?

They called me yesterday and said they saw my resume on Career Builder.  They didn't ask for my social but wanted to set up an interview.  I having been looking for It sounded a little to good to be true $40K-$60k starting (depending on experience).  I didn't realize it was a scam.  I updated my resume on Careerbuilder a week or two ago and was actually looking for work.

It's an Insurance Company wanting to hire you (me), they are a total scam. So when you or IF you get an email from them from Monster.com or other job sites, or if they call you randomly which they did me, because I deleted their email, just tell them to please stop calling.
