Ann H 2011-06-06 20:59:39 Unknown
How are they getting cell numbers?
Anonymous 2009-10-21 03:37:22 Unknown
COmpare notes and you will see that they are all the same company with the same website but different names. Don't be duped!
Anonymous 2009-10-21 03:35:02 Unknown
It's a dummy company. Peterson Burke, Chapman Lane, GT Travel, Erickson Wade, are all the same company. C Heck out their website. They are located in AZ, DE, CO, TX, SC. Why would someone offer you something without a catch. DOn't you think someone is getting paid behind this?

I recd the same letter dated 09/28/09 stating they've been unsuccessful in contacting me and that I must reply by 10/07/09. The phone number is 817-779-3088, Samantha Cox-VP Travel Awards Div. The award redemption consists of two roundtrip airline tickets anywhere in the continental US valued up to $1400. I knew it was a scam when I noticed a local DFW phone number on the letter. However, it's postmarked Phoenix, AZ.
I IMMEDIATELY THREW THIS CRAP AWAY AND YOU SHOULD DO THE SAME.
erg 2009-10-03 21:04:09 Unknown
Well, what happened? Did u get the tickets?
IMNODUMMY 2009-10-02 00:28:54 Event Reminder
Yes, got the letter today from Phoenix, AZ with no return address on envelope or letter. Letter states I have won 2 roundtrip airline tickets that retail for $1,400.00. A huge NOTE at top of page states that "You must respond no later thant October 7th, 2009.
The letter is signed by Samantha Cox with a please call me today at
(214)414-3569.
Well, as we all know, it's going in the shredder.
What I'd like to know is.... how did they get my name & address, since my information is unlisted!!
flapper1 2009-10-01 02:17:08 Unknown
so what happened?
Annoyed 2009-09-30 14:52:27 Unknown
I just received a letter from Samantha Coz of an Award Redemption service, under the company name Erickson Wade, with the letter directing traffic to info@ericksonwade.com. A man answered, claiming to work for her and would be able to assist me. They say you pay flight tax when booking, after going to see a showroom. It's a scam as well, FYI.

Letter from Samantha Cok at 214-414-3569:
From ALL INCLUSIVE EXCURSIONS (http://www.visitallinclusiveexcursions.com) website: "...everyone who qualifies and completes the 90 min presentation will receive there {SIC: should be 'their'}gifts while they are there."
Always wonder how anyone with enough money to build a good-looking website can't afford someone to check THEIR spelling and grammar!! :)
Clever direct marketing, but no thanks. ((First tip was Erickson-Wade letterhead for a website called petersonburke.com))
Rachel 2009-09-28 23:16:28 Unknown
I do not answer any calls that I cannot recognize the number. Further, when the number comes up private, so am I.
I did receive a letter in the mail. No return address but like some have reported, there is an Arizona postmark stamped on the envelope. Slight change, the name Erickson Wade is on the stationary. I googled it and found it is in association with Peterson Burke.
I'm "old school" and believe if it is too good to be true, it probably is. Since this is their "last attempt." I guess I will forfeit my 2 roundtrip airline tickets anywhere in the continental US. and "The retail value of this award is up to $1400.00." duh!!!
In case anyone is interested, it is signed Samantha Cox, Vice President, Travel Awards Division

Got the same letter today 9/26/09 stating this is the last attempt. This letter says to call Samantha Cox @ 214-414-3569 to get the tickets. Same lingo (2) free tickets.. blah blah... blah! Respond no later than 9/30/09.... I guess I better hurry.
rob 2009-09-26 18:22:44 Unknown
The catch is you need to sit thru a 1 hour presentation on why you should use GT Travel as your travel broker. The person said that it isnt a time share but when I asked if it was a vacation package company that you pay an annual fee for, he didnt know. The tickets have restrictions and you will pay for the taxes.
Rodney 2009-09-24 19:21:48 Unknown
Got the same letter, same location but from Samanatha Cox. What a scam!!!!!
Steve 2009-09-24 00:30:01 Unknown
Got the same leter today mailed from Phoenix to Phoenix with only first 3 numbers of the zip code being sent from. Same letter with a (480)518-8143 number in east Phoenix and a new name Samantha Cox. I wish I had an auto dialer just to bombard her with calls.
nuttz 2009-09-23 23:38:33 Unknown
my letter from Jacqueline Penn arrived from Phoenix with a Dallas number (214)932-0052. This lady gets around. Funny too that a business letter like this comes in a blank hand written envelope with no return address. Checked website and it was active. I googled Peterson Burke and all I found was a Dentist.
beware 2009-09-22 22:15:24 Unknown
whatever you do, don't fall for their vacation package deals- it's a total rip-off. it's the same people (scam artist) with a different name operating out of the galleria. they had to change their company name because they got in trouble.
Carl 2009-09-21 21:42:24 Unknown
Ditto! From Jacqueline Penn 817-204-0553 $1400.00 Award. Shredded it just now.
Curious 2009-09-21 05:07:11 Unknown
Same thing as everyone else. 2 tickets. $1400. Jacqueline Penn. Local number 303-305-0339. At least they hired a graphic designer to do the Peterson Burke logo, but should have spell-checked their site that is under "mainteance".

Received letter in Phoenix with the 2 free ticket offer. Jacqueline Penn's phone number is 480-612-6311 in Phoenix. Also trashing letter
R. Neilson 2009-09-19 16:15:17 Unknown
i contacted them at 480-612-6311 and set an appointment to pick up the voucher for free airline tickets at 2375 E. Camelback Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85016. The person I spoke to said there is a 60 to 90 min presentation with no obligation to get the tickets. They are a travel agency that buy in bulk and sell memberships at low rate. i asked if we did not sign up for a membership could we still get the tickets, he said yes. The appointment was set for Tuesday a 8pm. I hope he is not a serial killer!!

---END OF LETTER ---
I am convinced, after reading the other reports, this is a less than reputable device to snare unsuspecting consumers into revealing personal financial information, which will result in disasterous consequences.
