No response when answered

Called my number, rang twice and then hung up

How do you get them to stop??

Same thing here -- rang 3x, but had hung up by the time we picked up. Weird.

I get calls from this number a few times a week for over a year now and each and every time when we answer they just hang up.

No message.  Annoying to call late at night.

Got a call from this number twice but with strange Caller ID info.  First time (06-18-09), it registered to "Riverside."  Then on 06-25-09, we got another call from the same number, but this time it registered as "ATL BRAVES." We weren't home either time, and no one left a message.

I have been getting calls from this number for over a year, and each and every time they call the moment we answer they hang up.  Not once has anyone said a word.

Called, rang twice, machine picked up, they hung up.

6/22/2009 Phone range once and they hung up.  This is the first time I've ever received a call from this number.

I answered, because my company is based in Riverside, I answered, and a recording said "Press 1 to hear an important message about our borders."  So I hung up.

Got a call at 3.48 CST from 817-259-1413.  Caller ID named Riverside.  Answered immediately, but they hung up.

Got a call from 817-259-1413; called that number back today and got a recording that the number I had dialed 866-592-1772 had been disconnected...???

called on sunday tried to call back and got a recording saying that an 800 number had been disconnected.

By the way...Caller ID was Riverside...

just got a call from that number as well. rang twice. didn't pick up because i didn't recognize the number. people need better hobbies...

I heard my cell phone ring and I tried to get it in time but I missed it and I didn't know who it was. I looked at the number and I didn't know who it was. I tried calling back a couple of times but they didn't say anything and they just hung up. I also tried texting.

Same as many others have reported: just two rings, then nothing. I didn't answer.

Got a call from this number on home phone and they hung up immediately after I answered, and said nothing. I noted it said "Riverside" on Caller ID. Oddly (and especially since the phones never get calls around here at all usually) I had just received, about an hour before, on my cellphone another junk call (also hung up, said nothing) from 1-407-957-5956. There is a lot said on this site about THAT one. (I don't think the 2 calls are related to each other though, just a coincidence.)

Got a call from this number and they were talking about natural gas and needing to write a letter to my legislature now about it.

How did you manage to find out the provider was Tex Link?  Benn looking for a service to do just that!

When I call back it's always busy.  Just started here today too.

Calls but never answers or leaves message. What is the point?

These are sexual predators looking for little children. Just don't answer when they call.

THIS IS A GROUP OF JUVENILES CALLING, NTHEY DONT TALK BUT I HAVE HEARD SOMEONE WHISPERING "HANG UP" POSS TEXT MESSAGING, ETC, ORGINATED POSS FROM HERNDON VA, VANCOUVER/BC/CANADA

This number is for another of those "boiler room", hidden source, go-between-service contractiing their ghost line to low lifes actually making the calls.  

Line provider is:  Tex-link Corp, Fort Worth, TX
I suggeest we all bombard Tex-link Corp at (877) 774-4100 or customercare@texlink.com and voice our displeasure until they put a stop on the callers.  
(For what its worth, I notified Tex-link that I was reporting them to the FCC and FTC and seeking further info about how we can determine who the caller is.)
