got the same thing.a card on my door....saying"sorry we missed you"...since I was actually expecting a delivery,  made the mistake in calling the number on post card.."Welcoming me as a new home owner"..asked her what she was "selling"...told her I lived here 30 years and hung up....another scam !!!!!..

Pretending to be homeowners association service trying to deliver welcome packet for new home. Scam!  Offered FREE security system, mine to keep.  Not interested, got it covered, ok, we can send welcome packet via e-mail in PDF format within hour!   2nd attempt to deliver was taped to front door,  but two people were home.  SCAM!!!!  Delivered by Compass??
