They called and literally left a message saying. "If you believe in ghosts Press 1, If you don't Press 2 and if your not sure Press 3"

I too am getting calls couple times a day for the last couple of weeks.  I wish there was a way to stop this.  Tried to call right back and get busy tone.  If there was a way to get rid of them would like to know how.

They weren't too happy to hear from me and tried to direct me to some telephone number. I replied that I was not interested in another phone number and that this call as are all the other calls where I demanded my number be removed were recorded and I was going to pursue harassment charges.

STOP CALLING MY HOUSE.  I WILL FIND A WAY TO MAKE THIS STOP AND FIND A WAY TO FINACIALLY BENEFIT FROM IT OR AT LEAST COST YOU MONEY!

Just a question, are you telling us that if you get a call and dont know the number you file a Federal Trade Commission complaint?? Are you on crack?

This is a seriously nasty organization.  They use every conceivable means to avoid contact with the public.  I serioulsy doubt that ANY needy person benefits from your donations.  If they were truly a charity and above board, they woulldn't resort to such deceptive and aggresively irritating practices.  They may simply be 'pinging' you phone to establish what times of day your home so they can robb you.  Probably a scam set up by John Wiley Price..  Total scam.

This is one of the worst  harassers calling. They have been calling me for about two years almost every day and sometimes twice a day. My Caller ID reads 1-817-273-5547  Cloth Donation. They are LLS Donations (Leukema Society). I would never give them the sweat off my balls. They are definately one of the worst. I had my telephone number changed and they called on my new number the first day and have been calling daily since.

This one reads " 817-273-5547 Cloth Donation"  . It is the Leukemia Society and a "robo" call.  They have been calling my business phone at least five days a week and sometimes twice a day. It's been happening now for at least two years. They are really inconsiderate of others.  I would never give the Leukemia Society one cent under any circumstances. I've tried to leave messages requesting they stop calling my number but it does no good.  JUST TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW TO STOP GIVING MONEY TO THE KEUKEMIA SOCIETY.    If our govt weren't so busy killing people all around the world maybe they could do their job at home to stop this harassment. WRITE YOUR CONGRESSMAN OR WOMAN. HA! HA!

Don't want their calls

This number has been calling me multiple times a day and displaying an ID of Cloth Donations.  when I do a call back, I get a message from Verizon Wireless that the number has been disconnected or was changed.  Obvious scam number.  The number is registered to Southwestern Bell Wireless but they will not help!

I just called that number 817-273-5500, they answered Clothing Donations......I asked them to remove my number from their list and the lady took the info and said she would remove it.
So, certainly worth a try.

I keep getting this number on my cellphone and they just hang up.

I have gotten calls from this number for months. It says cloth donations. There is never anyone there. When I dial the number back (even though its a long distance call to another area code) I get three quick short beeps and then nothing.

Even if they were legimate how do they expect anyone to give anything? The other volunteer groups stay on the line or have a working number. The boy scouts, post office etc leave a notice on your door telling you when they will be by and will pick up any clothing, canned goods etc up.

Clothing Donation is a harassment scam.  They call us at least twice a day, every day...  including weekends.  They've been asked repeatedly to stop calling.

caller id says it is "Clothing Donation." have actually spoken to them, a woman who says their truck will be coming thru the neighborhood to pick up donations. it's a bogus person trying to get free stuff for a resale shop my best guess.

Same as everyone, no answer, when pick-up and if not answer, doesn't leave a voice mail, very annoying, not sure why they keep calling, get at least two to three calls a day, even on the week-ends.  Can't someone put a stop to these annoying calls?

Keeps on calling and hangs up when I answer.  Call back and the number is always busy.

Someone from the # (817)273-5547 calls me everyday sometimes multiple times a day.  When I call the # back i get an error message sayiing this # cannot be completed as dialed.

In November, Cynthia wrote [above] that the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society had asked for an E-mail address.  Cynthia, be glad that you didn't provide it!  I gave them my E-mail address, foolishly thinking that they would E-mail me and stop calling.  No!  Now they E-mail AND call!  I just ignore the phonecalls and the E-mails; but one of these days I'm going to answer the phone and ask that I be removed from ALL of their lists.  I have donated in the past, and I think it's funny that they ask donors to label the box or bag with "LKS" and put it on the porch.  I guess they think it's the "LOU KEEMIA Society," named for a person.

I just got a call from this number and they said it was the National Federation for the Blind.  Sounds like a sweat shop call center operating under multiple charitable names.

jack***es -  keep calling and no message -  i have asked them repeatedly to remove my number but they keep calling.  Say they are Lukemia Society - How in the world do I know they are telling the truth - They ask for Money and credit card number ( yeah right ) !!!!   atty general and BBB needs to know about this !!!!   I am getting real tired of this . Next call goes to Atty General for sure !!!
