Phone rang 3 times, nobody there when answered.  Caller ID showed TPAL and the phone number.

THIS SOB IS A NUT.

They called and when I answered they hung up.  I believe they have called before.  Who is this and why are they doing this?

I got a call this evening from the same number. Wasn't home to take call. Might be a phishing scam.

same thing with me - phone rang twice and then no one was there - and then when the next person called me, the number was gone from my caller ID

I looked up the number on GOOGLE.com and found 6310 Hulen Bend Blvd., Fort Worth, TX 76132 as the address listed with the number.  This is a shopping center.

had the same thing happen to me several times in the past, 3 rings and then the line went dead. i was looking at a web site called PrisonPlanet.com today and strange thing happend. PrisonPlanet.com is a web site that is exsposing the lies and decite within our government. one artical talks about
how our government is spying on the american people via phone and internet.
i closed my browser and within 10 seconds my phone rang with the number

i answer, and as soon as i say hello i hear............Beep........
I instantly hangup the phone. I will not listen to the entire call.
i believe it is programming the mind.

This number called twice today, 11/10/07, both times disconnected shorty after I answered.

Caller said he was with texas police officers kicking off their 2008 fund drive to keep kids off drugs.

Received call 9/21 @ 8:50PM.  Didn't answer.  No message.

When I answered the phone a male voice said, "This is community care" and hung up.

Don't know who they are or what they want, but it sounds nefarious.

The line was busy when I tried to call the 817-294-9882 number on my phone caller ID, so I called the number suggested by "K Witville" in the above list.  The man who answered at 817-294-9900 told me the number was a charity and that they could call anyone.  He did tell me he would remove my number from their call list.

I live in Texas so this is a call from my area. Nobody on the other end and they never leave voicemail. Very annoying to have them break in on a call for nothing.

I got call and ID said TX and I got off an important call to take it. I heard nothing but clicks and being on the DNC list I checked them out online. I found their phone numner 817-294-9900 called them back and told them to remove me from their list. The representative said "OK, did they call from this number," I said, "No, I found your number online" and he removed mine in his computer. We will see...it is nice to be able to call their offices. 817-294-9900
