We have asked to be removed as well. Now they call and hang up! MAybe we should do the same to them?

Someone from this number called and made a rude noise on my voicemail.  I spoke with Mike Gordon and he was professional and polite.  But why is this even happening?  Hopefully, it will stop.

Sick of these harrassing solicitation phone calls. Asking for someone who is NOT associated with the business and then demanding to know WHO IS. When I won't give them that info they say they will keep calling then. Someone needs to find out who this phone number belongs to and DO something about it! CALLNOTEs 817-358-2420

I have received numberous calls from them and they will not tell anyone who answers what it is about.  I don't like to be ambushed.  I deal with my obligations when I have to but will not be subject to abuse from any company.

They appeared in my caller ID as "CALLNOTES." I wasn't home to take their call and they didn't leave a message. They are most likely confusing me for the business that used to be associated with this number ... 2 1/2 years ago! I can't believe we still receive calls for Piedmont Construction from individuals who claim they found our number in a phone book. The company went out of business and lost its number in September, 2005.

Call, ask for owner. I said I was. Gal says she's not selling anything, just taking info for insurance rates for American Republican something or other. I asked her to take us off the list. They stay on the line for some time, even when you hang up and get back on they are there.
Annoying!

Rec'd junk marketing ph call from 817-358-2420, Sharon Williams, Associated Republic. Are you Al? So I answered with, and just what do you want so I can tell him? The bimbo hung up. She claimed to be with Associated Republic, but calling back gave Lake Services/Lead Services, (variety of different names) trying to sell insurance. More cockroaches on the phone.

Got a call from them this morning.Caller ID says CallNotes and the above ph #.I let it go to voice mail and you can hear some women yacking in the background,then a loud comment or a wierd sound then they hung up.2 can play that game,maybe i will yell at them or make funny sounds when they call back as we all know they will.

Lady called asking for me and I hung up when I realized it was a boiler room call.

Received a call this morning and let the machine pick it up. When I played back the message there was a woman talking to someone else in the room.  She kept saying "I hate having to listen to this s#!t"  and more redundant rambling.  How professional.

Guy called and I always answer the phone with my name, he proceeded to mispronounce my name and said he was with Consumer's medical?  It was a boiler room, as I could hear others not speaking English very well...

they call several times per day, usually dead air or background noise, I try to hang up but it ties up the line for several minutes, I ask to be taken off their calling list, once the individual actually threatened me an hung up.

These people NEVER say anything. While you are answering the phone they hang up. Every stinking day. Enough is enough! How can we stop them from calling??? I did call the number back and asked to be taken off the list. I hope this works. If not I will be back here again.

When I answered the guy kind of chuckled and said, "This is Albert, I want to come by and pick up a pizza" then hung up. What a waste of my time, and for the record we are not a pizza place.

Have any of you called a car dealership around the time this happened?  I got a call from this number.  I only use this phone to call dealerships.  I have heard that dealers hire 3rd party companies to provide them with toll free tracking numbers and those companies will sell the information behind their backs.  Not sure if it is true.  Please list if you have called a car dealer and what dealer it was.

These people call everyday and are so rude. They insist on talking to the owner or office manager and when I say no one is available they keep asking! We called Mike Gordon and gave him our business numbers to be taken off the list. We'll see if this actually works....

I got a call from this number and they asked for my husband.  I told them he wasn't home so they asked me if I had health insurance.  I said yes and he asked if I would answer a few questions. He wanted to know the last time we had sex.  I thought that was very inappropriate.  He wanted to know which position I liked best and if I ever scream.  I became very uncomfortable answering such questions so he asked if I would think about it and he'd call me back. I don't know if I want to talk to him again.  I'm on the Do Not Call list.  How can I stop this if I want to?  I hope this isn't offensive.  I thought I should make a full report.

called my cell. do they have a website or some way to get an address for me to sue them? i'm unemployed and got my first telemarketer check last week. free money!!!

I just got a call and nothing, just hang up on me.
I call the number back,  Message said "out of service number."

So, I will do as I always do (using their office number listed on another post) I then feed in their office number into my fax program to send them a fax asking to be removed. I set it to redial 50 times or until the fax is received.
 
Then I let my fax program do it's job.  Yep, it calls them 50 times and buzzes in their ear as it is their office number not their fax number.  

Now I waste a little of their time too.......

Don't get angry, Waste their time and productivity!

Assumer. How do you know if the person isn't doing this on their OWN TIME!

Called our office just before 3:00pm. 9-4-2008. Ladies voice. She asked if the owner was in, I said yes, who should I say is calling? She asked if I was a manager, I said no, then hung up. I googled the phone number and came across this website. Per one of the other posts, I called Mike Gordon (817)423-5151 and asked to be taken off their list. He was polite and said it would be done right away. Still not sure why the rep hung up. Maybe they need to place a certain amount of calls, regardless of the quality of the call.

I saw this number and noted that it was CallNotes.  I answered using a ficticious company name "Rider Health Insurance".  A lady asked to speak to me and I stated, I'm sorry, this is "Rider Health Insurnace" can I help you?  She apologized and said she had the wrong number.  I bet I'll be removed from there list now.

Called today.  Saw notes.  Good lead on Mike Gordon.  Thanks
