Calls but never leaves message. Who is this???

Debt collector

This is Gabby with NRC - this is a bill collector trying to collect on an outrageous outstanding bill that started at 100.00 and now that they have the account, it's now over $600. The cell phone company is a rip off and these people are trying to collect on something that I feel I do not  owe and will not.

I got this call (817-385-6854) and answered it. The line was open, but no one responded - so I hung up and dialed the number back. Got recording to push one button for Spanish or stay on the line for the next avail rep...no company name, greeting, etc, which should have raised the red flag! I then asked who they were, to which the operator said Nationwide. I asked if it was Nationwide insurance, and she said no, they processed claims. I pointed out that under law if I ask if they are a creditor or collection agency they are obligated to say so...and she went BALLISTIC on me! So I just hung up on them.
Might wanna avoid calls from these guys!

I get calls frequently from 972-253-3204, 972-254-3701, 972-253-4103, 972-253-5102, 972-253-4801, and 817-385-6854. If I answer, I hear a couple of clicks and then nothing. If I call back and it picks up, I hear nothing or I get a busy signal. Every day the same thing, but the number changes frequently. It's becoming a daily hassle to report these calls! What else can you do?
