He is still at it. The name is the same but the phone number is changed. His new number is 310 742 4166. They also have an other number 202 506 9457 with someone with African African accent. Brian Allister's accent is oriental not Indian. He spoke slowly and one word at a time to hide the accent.

I have received 2 calls from the same guy, Brian Mcalister,.  On the first call he said he was from a federal agency.  Today, Saturday(IRS offices are closed on weekends), he calls back and says he's with the IRS and I have a warrant out for my arrest due to some tax violations.  Needless to say, I hung up on him both times.

My only concern is the second time he called his caller ID WAS ACTUALLY FROM THE IRS CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE PHONE NUMBER.  I'm sure the caller ID thing is a clever trick with some new app. So I'm not bothered

First thing Monday I file a complaint with my local IRS office.  I imagine they take these things pretty seriously.

I got a call from an Indian sounding fellow, pretending to be from IRS criminal investigation. Called back, got an answering message. As I began to leave message, a guy picked up. I told him I was an attorney representing me, and he asked me to hold on while transferred me. Then he hung up on me...I called back, no one would pick up. I started leaving a nasty message and an indian guy picked up, asking me to calm down. He said I would be arrested in 45 minutes...

Called the IRS, they are aware of this scam. The guy called himself Chris Miller....I have yet to meet a chris miller with limited english.

So this exact same thing happened to me on may 6 2014. The agent represented himself as "officer brian mcaliaster" from the irs criminal investigation division. He has an accent, possibly indian,. He told me that if I did not make a payment for 1,800$ that I would be arrested and detained in a federal jail for irs fraud and tax evasion. He then told me to go to a cvs or walmart to get a green dot card for 500$ and send him the pin number on the back, at which point he would remove the arrest warrant aganist me.
Needless to say this whole thing is a SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This guy is a joke.

This phone number called me & she said she is from IRS & do I have an attorney? Her accent was heavy she sound like from India. I told her she is not from IRS, because IRS doesn't call people & I told her she is bogus & then I hung up the phone. Why would IRS call me, I do not owe any money for IRS? I wrote her number down through my caller ID, just to see where is this call coming from. It says Texas caller, my ID caller doesn't say from IRS.

I looked for a way to contact the IRS to report this guy. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any way to talk to someone at IRS.  So this Brian guy called me again this morning.  I decided to mess with him.  I told him I didn't care if they send me to jail. Sounds like fun.  He was stunned at my response.  He told me he was sending an officer over and hung up.  Mess with him folks.  LOL

Same here with same number asking for my husband. I hung up first time when he said " I am officer .. calling from IRS." The guy called back and charged aggressively, "Did you hang up on me?"
"Yes!"
He started threatening, police can come anytime knock your door.
I said, " I know about you guys scammers. I know IRS don't call people's house. stop calling. I am going to report your phone # to the police."
He screamed, "Go ahead, call police."
This guy left a message for me 3 months ago saying the same horrible things. He didn't have Indian accent. He is  targeting all Indian population in my neighborhood.

I too received a very contentious phone call from a guy with a heavy Indian accent claiming to be officer Brian McAllister calling from Grapevine, Texas phone # 1-817-400-4063. When I asked for his badge number, he provided one: RDX2833! Can you believe this??? He said that my husband committed IRS TAX FRAUD and that we were criminals and if I don't pay 1,498.10$ right away, my husband will be arrested at his place of work and an officer will show up at my door within 30 minutes. He said that if I keep asking questions, he will write a report that I was refusing to cooperate and that I was evading the IRS. After several minutes it was very clear that he was getting very irate with me and when I said I was going to call my husband and call the IRS to double-check he said that this was my last warning and once I hung up the phone, there was nothing that he could for me except send me to jail. I hung up, called every agency to report him and BLOCKED the number on my phone. It was disturbing and crazy. Please do not fall for any of that. The IRS WILL NEVER EVER CALL YOU! And I suspect they won't threaten you this way either!!!

Just received a call from a heavy accented guy (Indian) impersonating an IRS agent (Grapevine, Texas apparently; phone number 1-817-400-4063). He told me his name was something McAllister (yeah right!) and when I asked from his badge number, he gave it to me without batting an eye. He threatened me and my husband saying that we are criminals defrauding the IRS and that if we don't pay 1,486.10$ we're going to jail. This was the last warning before officers come to our house or arrest my husband at his place of work. I told him off but he kept insisting that this was not a joke and when I asked him to call the IRS to verify if this was truly them calling he went berserk screaming that I did not have time to do that because once he hangs up the phone, it was all over and my husband and I will be facing jail time. Honestly, I was rattled because he was so aggressive but I stood my grounds and hung up on his him. I called every other federal and local agency that I could think of to report him.

Just received call this morning.  Sounded like a foreign accent trying to sound Texan on the message.  Claimed I was under investigation by IRS Criminal Investigations and I need to contact him immediately at this number.  However, the answering message when I call this number has a guy named Michael Shaw (not sure about last name because accent too thick), with a thick Indian accent and just says you have reached the "desk of Michael" whatshisface. Not going to leave a message.

Ridiculous.  Happy there are sites like this out there.

Today I was scammed. The worst I've ever been in my life. I still can't believe I believed the whole thing. I was scammed by the best, most resourceful people in this 'business'.

They had my phone number, address, and knew my husband was out of the country.

They called and told me that my husband owed a large amount of money in tax evasion and they were calling from the IRS. They said he wouldn't be allowed back in the country or I would be arrested until paid the debt.

I did everything they told me to do. I took money out of my account and then ran around putting the money on Greendot money PAC cards. After I gave them the scratch off number in the back of each card, my money was as good as gone.

I was told to stay on the phone with him as I ran around doing as I was told. So, I couldn't and didn't call anyone to ask if this was real. I just thought about me being arrested and my husband not here and who would take care of my girls now.

I called my local police after trying to get the money back from green dot but they weren't helpful since it was a scam, untraceable, and the phone number linked back to Irving, Texas. I then called Texas. They also gave me the same hopeless answer. I had three different names he called himself and the person he worked with. The money was untraceable and I was scammed.

I looked up the number and was shocked at the number of complaints under it. The person uses the same name most of the time, but seems to use a different type of scam every time. Mine was the biggest so far in a month.

They go under the names Michael Shaw, Brian Mcallister, and Ben Clayton.

John shaw. A very broken English accent called repeatedly to my cell and work. Same thing: his job is simply to warn me I am being sued and that I need to give him my attorneys name. He was calling from " the federal attorney office" bur wouldn't give me info. He gave me a number to call which happen to be the same number he was calling me from and said I should call immediately. I told him to find a job other than scamming people
Just out of curiosity I called the number  it went straight to a voice mail for another very heavily accented man named John Jackson.
