That video of yours is private, how come you post a link the can't be watched?

Received a call from "Terry Allen" calling from 817-400-1491, asking to speak with the Attorney here at our office. Not sure of the purpose of the call, but these people have called many times.  And all they say when I say the attorney is not available, is "that's ok, it was about some law books, and I will send him an e-mail instead" and they hang up.  And when I call the number back, I get the message saying "the phone jack customer you are trying to reach is unavailable" and then other times it just rings, without any answer or recording.  ANNOYING.  Wish I could reach through the phone and strangle these people. These people are scammers... just not sure of their angle... other than to annoy me and interrupt me when I am busy.   Maybe if I keep calling them and annoying them the same way, perhaps that will be sufficient retribution..

got some texts with advertisement also abreviated "advert".  which struck me as weird.  sas he is Roland Robin Ft Worth Texas,  but  'he'  probably has stolen that name.  I feel bad for the real Roland, if there is one. Scammer is using a new number 817- 755  0010 and says he wants to use a credit card on Google Wallet to buy my truck, full price, sight unseen - I'm across the country.  He says all i have to do is sign on to google wallet with my debit or credit card, and he will deposit into my account.  
Yea Sure...  I said Cash talks,  others walk.  no deal.

Roland Robin is still at it, apparently he has figured something out with GOOGLE WALLET. This thread goes back to 2010 and this clown isnt in jail yet? looks like the cut off for him was 2500, i have 2 cars for 2500 and a couple of more listed higher. got hit with a scam from Forth Worth on both of the 2500 listings. got to be something with how the banks handle transactions under a certain amount. thanks to all for posting.

Okay, this scam is getting more sophisticated...my roommate got one of these FedEx deliveries and then 4 days later l did too. The return address was ME and l supposedly SENT it to someone l had NEVER heard of before!!!
lnside was a CASHIER'S check drawn on the PNC Bank for $2,000+ dollars, and made out to this person l had never heard of before.
My first thought was to check it out on line and that it was a scam.Not only do l not know this girl, but l haven't had more than 50 dollars all at one time since l lost my job!!! So why am l giving it away to someone l don't know???

I just wanted to thank everyone who posted. I am a single mother, college student and was  selling a go kart and got a text from Roland Robin. I found it too good to be true so i googled his name and foud these postings and definitely did not follow through with this transaction. I would of truly of have been devastated emotionally and financially if I would of gotten scammed. Thanks again.

Caleb Johnson is also adding Mario Vigil to his names that he is using.  He wanted to buy our vehicle and then pay through paypal!

Who buys a $20,000 vehicle and not want to see it first, really!

You wouldn't believe how many of the South Asian criminals like to use Roger, Stan, or Steve Smith from "American Dad".

I got the same email from Todd Joel. Thank you for posting this as I googled the name and came up with this page. I am too cautious anyways--I would not have fallen for it. thanks!

Unfortunately,  the only way to stop these scams is to let yourself get screwed and then report it to the police. That seems to be the only time they are interested in cases like this. You can't get scammed or file a report until you have a loss it seems.

Iv'e tried to get a few guys with similar scams over the years. I always get a similar response from the local P.D.'s

I just got a check from this guy wanting to buy some panels from me off of craigslist. I know not to cash the check, but what else can I do at this point. He doesn't have a clue that I am on to his scam.

We received this message word for word too! He wanted our address too! How does the scam actually work?  
He wanted us to send him a invoice so he can send money via google blah blah. How can we stop this? He has a Facebook page too.

This man or scam targeted my parents but they were smart enough to second guess this guy. I worry about people who give him their address right away......I hope we can stop this before someone gets hurt:(

I think that all people that have been scammer should  reported this person too the IRS for the money that you lost. This would be a income as a scammer. Stacey Schulke, 232 Birch st Tigerton, Wi 54486. We all know she is liveing off of us tax free.

Hey gang.  I got texted direct from "Elizabeth" who wanted to buy my things.  The best way to annoy them is to keep them busy.  Keep replying and let them know you are sending the money.  Car troubles and couldn't get to the bank......trouble at the bank...computers down...having a baby.....death in the family.....kid stubbed his toe....make up anything.  Keep em busy.  If we keep em busy they may miss the one person that doesn't know and was going to pay them.  The number mine came from was 814-201-1824 but one of the names here.  The person I am supposed to send it to is Lucas Franks at 430 North 31st, Philadelphia PA.

I just recieved this same email and he replied back using the name Elizabeth Richards and sent me a check using Williams & Anderson PLC out of Little Rock AR. Same scam from an item I have listed on Craigslist.  Word for word emails I received from whoever this is.  But now he is using the name Coalton Gillham.

I'll make a quick purchase for this, but I'll not be able to come and
look at it, because am out of town right now. Payment will be made via

the shipment, because i will hire a mover for the pickup and delivery

The same Joseph William has been trying to buy a car from me, and I keep seeing all of these scam reports, but there are no definitive details on what part of it is a scam.  Can you help me out?  Is it just that he never comes through with the deal or is there monetary fraud involved?
