husband got a call at work claming to be a CASH ADVANCE place from EARL CARTER
, threatened arrest....when questioned, said they are attorneys and then hung up when we called them on it....my husband works for govt and threatedned to have them investigated and they hung up repeatedly and refused to answer our calls. this a scam.. horrible english. another number associated with this scam is david marshall 817-400-4768

They have called my place of employment repeatedly today. I have asked them mulitple times to take this number out of their call list and asked to speak to a supervisor.  They clearly do not speak english and cannot understand (or pretend like they can't understand) what you are saying.  They have asked for a specific person each time they call.  Supposedly I was transferred to a supervisor who said his name is James Williams.  This company needs to be shut down!

This guy, "John Smith", just called my cell, I didn't answer, since I am at work. He left a voicemail. Then the same number calls my work. He leaves a message with the person that answered the call, stating that I applied for a loan, and needed to call back, as soon as possible, to complete the application process. I could lose my job for personal calls, like this. Also, I have NOT applied for any loans.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone..  You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Hey called my work last week again for the 15 hundred time. Told them go ahead call the police. He says hold on while threatening me. Then comes back and says lines busy you BI***!!!  (THIS IS ALL A SCAM ASK FOR POLICE ASK THEM THE QUESTIONS DON'T ACT SCARED. MY BOSS CALLED THEM BACK AND GAVE THEM  PIECE OF HER MINED.)

I just received a call from this number on a Government phone (DoD) to be exact.  I din't answer and I read everyone messages.  Let them keep callling here, this is an official government phone line!!!!! JERKS!!!!!

Received 2 calls this morning back to back at 5:38 am & 5:40 AM.  First of all it is against the law to call prior to 8:00 AM, second of all if you are being arrested you WILL NOT be warned.  

I have received 27 phone calls since 9 am this morning and it is now 5:55pm. He claims to be with the Federal Marshals as well as Federal Police. I told him I wanted his badge number because I am married to a Federal Police Officer. He just called again with another identity and department he works for. There are various numbers that this person(s) is calling from so beware!!

They keep callling me to ask me for my personsl info. They told me my application for a loan had been accepted. They all have an Indian accent and when I asked them the name of their company they told me they were having technical problems but they would call me back . Fraud!!!!!

Said I qualified for a loan name was james sexton had an india accent I never took out a loan from green payday loan they have called my work number 3 times I hung up on him and he called back he was speaking to some people in the background with that language so I called it back and got a  recording said he's name was andy smith a loan officer. I have the numbers blocked on my cell phone wish I could do the same for my work number

I didn't give them any of my information at all they already had it. I know better to ever give any of that stuff over the phone. I don't give money to people I don't know either I used my common sense is why I didn't fall for it. I didn't even want a loan so not sure how my info got to them that's the scary part. I sure wish we could find them for sure b4 they get money out of other people that may fall for it

These miserable scammers seem to pick on women for some reason.  Doubly rotten of them.   Seems to me the NSA has to look into these overseas scammers and start doing something about them.  At least find out where they are physically located.  Frankly I'd like to send a smart bomb to each and every one of them.

Simple.  Don't send money to people you don't know.  Don't fall for fee for loan scams.  Don't give out personal financial information on the phone. Ever.  Never give CC numbers to anyone over the phone.  Ever.  BBB has it's own number. Look i up.   Don't pay any attention to anyone offering anything who speaks with an INDIAN ACCENT!  Green card is a flashing red light that a scam is involved. Use common sense.  Don't let people scare you with phony lawsuits or  phony tax liabilities.  Again.  Watch out for that Indian Accent.

Just got a call from this number saying I qualified for a loan up too 4 thousand dollars but I had to wire them money from Wal-Mart on a voucher so I asked them are they registered with the BBB he informed they were and I could call this number 6077957547 to verify it and I would speak with a girl named Jennifer Bush and she would be able to give me their licences number that they have to use to loan money in the US licences number she gave me was AC00154236. We all know that when you call somewhere like that we don't know who will answer thephone. The first guy also said   I had to send them money b4 they put the money in my account. and for me to call him when I got to Wal-Mart and he would tell me exactly where to send the money and then I would be on hold with him for 15 minutes and he would put the money in my account and I could check my account while I was on the phone with him. I almost feel for this scam but thank God my gutt told me not to do it. But they had all my personal information already. Should I be worried or what do I need to do to protect my self someone please help me

Received call from this number regarding a loan and the request for money to send the loan

I have been getting these calls for the last two weeks. I get between 15 and 25 calls per day all from a different number. When this lady called from this number she asked for Jason. My name is not jason.when I told her this, she wanted to know my name. I refuse to give her my name. Then she proceeds to tell me that her name is Ashley and that she is very ho**y and she just loves talking to Jason. Then she does some kind of moaning and panting, and grunting thing trying to sound sexy. she tells me that she's touching yourself right now and wanted to know if I was doing the same. I asked her "what the hell is wrong with you" and hung up the phone. Then she calls me back wanting to know what happened why we got disconnected. I told her we got disconnected because I hung up on her, and that she's an idiot that needs to get a real job and quit scamming people.

You might want to ask these scammers why THEY are working when the rest of the government is SHUT DOWN?

Received a call from this number from a foreign person that stated they were calling from Federal Legislation dept about crimes against my social security number, wanted to verify the last four of my social, stated I was in criminal danger and that I needed to call this Andrew Walker back - gave me a case number, number to call and his extension.  I was panicking because I did not recall any credit issue or fraud against my social security number.

Received a message at  my job to call Mckenzie at 817-400-4768 ext. 121. I called the number back (thinking it was a customer of mine), was told his name was Travis Walker and that there were 2 complaints against my name and social security number and that he had papers to serve on me. I told him I had no idea what he was talking about. Also said they had sent me an email last week. He didn't speak good english so I couldn't make out some things he was saying. I told him that I didn't know what he was talking about and that I needed more information. He hung up. It's scary that people can get your work info and call you.

I got this call on Saturday at 11:48pm from Grapevine, TX  this heavy accented person  told me his name is Justin Cooper, and I need to call back at the same # that he called me from to speak with a Kevin Walker who is an attorney reguarding me being sued!!! I called back... heck I don't need to get into trouble, and I thought is was real. I called back...yes I'm stupid about this. phone never rang then it got disconnected. Still worried.. I don't know why. I think if your going to be sued then you would get something in the mail??? Right, not of the phone.

I got a call from this number a Mike Brown about a lawsuit pending against me for a payday loan I never received.Tried calling numerous times but got a voicemail with a foreign accent.  Called number again tried speaking to a woman who hang up on me.

threating a law suit

They have contacted me as David Jones and Mr Parker, from 516-515-7683 and 817-400-4768... David Jones is very threatening and gets very angry when you interrupt and try to get him to stop talking so fast. I couldn't understand him with his thick accent and I let him know it. Then told him I would need time to figure this out.  He said there was no figuring it out. Either pay or go to jail. Well, I called the company he said the I owed money too, they had nothing on record & reported the scam call. I even got calls from the police department later today... and one from mr Parker who asked for my attorneys info. When I told him I contacted the company they said I did fraud against he froze and said there must have been a misunderstanding.  I asked him who's misunderstood you or me? He said he was and hung up on me. Good thing I never sent them any money. But how did they get the cops to call me?

Gentlemen named Mark Brown calling my office about a legal matter.  Inquired if I knew about it, told him no such legal matter exists and hung up.  Called back, asked why did I hang up in his face.  Told him if he called me again I would call the FBI and report him and this number for harassment.

Been called over the last 4 to 5 days over and over.  Threatened to have me arrested.  They had my social security number.  This appears to be a scam.  Don't give out any information.
