My wife got the same call, the guy said he was a cop and we needed to get a lawyer.  The biggest scam out there don't even return this call.  They are not American and I have NO tolerance for these camel riding sh*theads.

Same deal.. Owe money, now they threaten you w/"conflicts" @ work and in the home... then jail.They have changed their number too. Called me like 3 times in a day.. In a 5hr period. Then called my 15yr old kid sister to get info on me!!! They've changed their number too!! They are such.. A**holes. Don't give 'em s**t.

From France but accent changes and he use the you owe Cash net USA $925.00. I never even used these people and contacted them to verify. They stated that 4 weeks ago people hacked into their system. How did he get my new number. STRANGE!

Received a call from Adam Smith saying i would be arrested if did not pay 1500.  after i told them i did not have money they said i had to pay $500 to stop from being arrested.  After i said i did not have that amount either they told me i could pay $100 this week and I needed to pay with a debit card or go to Walmart and buy a prepaid visa card.  I asked them about Western union and they said know only debit or prepaid card.  They have been calling and harrassing me at work for weeks now.

I just got a call and they gave me this number. They said they were filing charges against me for violating federal banking laws and for fraud because I took out a Payday loan from Cashnet USA and was unable to pay it back. The guy sounded like he was from India and it was kind of scary. He knew the names of people I used as a reference and even the last four digits of my social security number. They said they were from the Financial Crime Department and that if I didn't pay them today they were going to file charges.

It seems pretty suspicious now that I found this site. The number they gave me was 817-423-6217 and when I called, it said it was disconnected.

I just received a call (haven't had one from him in months).  They will not tell me who this amount owing is owed to...says at 3:30 today they are filing with the courts and they will be coming to my home or work and placing me under arrest. FIRST OFF! they don't do things that way so don't fall for this crap! I talked to someone at a payday loan place and they said they can't do a darn thing even if you do owe! She said this person is trying scare tactics. PLEASE DON'T ANYONE EVEN RETURN THEIR CALL OR GIVE THEM THE TIME OF DAY! They are not from our Country either (can hardy understand them).

I received two messages about 2 hours ago from a company called United Legal Investigation bureau. I checked online to see if the number 817-423-6217 was real and I came across this website. I hope you get these guys and lock them in jail for life. One caller sounded English- He calls himself "Jack Samuel"
Plus, there was another guy which sounded Indian. Also, can anyone give me advice in what to do in terms of protecting my assets.

I received this same call and they called my brother and friend and i told them I would file a report with the police and if they are real then send me a letter. They are total B.S.

call the police on these guys.  file reports.  dont let these guys get away with this nonsence.  i almost lost my job because they were telling my bosses that i was wanted by the FBI and that there are warrants for my arrest.  the more reports that the police get, the more likely they will get caught.  A message has to be sent to people like this so that this type of behaviour will not be tolerated, especially the threats they make!!

ive been known to do an excellent indian accent in my day....almost to the point that it sounds more covincing then an actual indian...so when i got this phone call that you all say you recieved above ive had a field day with it.  after alerting the authorities i have been pranking these guys non-stop for about 4-5 days...im driving them insane to the point where they dont know if they should take my money or not...ive offered them rupees and a goat in payment and they still stay on the phone trying to get money...be careful do not give these guys any money but have fun with them at least....

They called my husband's phone asking for me and he cussed them out. Then they left a message saying that it was Officer Robert Wilson and that I was a prime suspect in a criminal case in France. I have never been to France a day in my life. They said that if I didn't call them back that day then I needed to prepare to take a trip down town. I work in the international department at my job and we deal specifically in international fraud. The thing that tipped me off was the fact that he said my case file was down loaded on to my country code. They must think Americans are some gullable people to come up with such a corney scam. They need to come a little better than that.I didn't think twice about calling them back. Thank God for google!!!

Just got the call, scared me for a quick second until he kept yapping about random stuff. If you guys get this call just hang up its the biggest scam I ever heard. His voice is from a India call center you can hear other voices in the background. He said that I was going to be arrested for 21-A if I did not call him back, his name is Officer Frank Jackson whooo im scared.

These a-holes have been harrassing staff at my job for over a week now, telling them that i am a criminal, saying there is a warrant for my arrest, and that i have to pay them to avoid imprisonment.  The worst part of all this mess is the embarrassment they have caused me with my peers at work.  i know its a scam, but they have threatened me, made me look ridiculous at work with my peers, and constantly have been harrassing me.  i hope something gets done about this, cause id hate to think these people could be using this scam as a front for terrorism.  F*ck this people!!!

This person just called my home at 9:05am, 9:56am, and 10:09am stating the same thingthat I was going to be put in jail for a financial crime that I committed.  They fast talk you so that you could make an instant decision.  And say that you will have to pay $10,000 - $20,000 and be away from your family for 6 - 8 months "Do you want that maam?"  I was nervous, not because I had done anything, but you know how bad identity theft is.  So I decided to google the number and bam got this site.  I won't pay them one red cent.  Not even a nickel.

SO they keep calling me at work asking for a Jessica Moore. She hasn't worked in in 5 years. I keep telling him that but he wont stop calling!!! Same deal, sounds Indian, claims he is a police officer. I told him I filed and FBI report, which I did, and he goes oh don't you know we are the FBI. Whatever, and he keeps calling me Jessica, I'm like "WHAT PART OF SHE DOESNT WORK HERE DONT YOU UNDERSTAND!!!" But he told me her social, the last 4 of the bank account, address. Its scary. I was like I am NOT Jessica. They said the cops were going to show up by 2pm so I said all right send em on out, and of course they never showed. Total fraud, do not give them ANYTHING!! Apparently they have been doing this in Florida and Georgia also and they were sent to the state attorney general in FL and were forced to pay a fine. I guess that hasn't stoped them, people out there must be buying this crap.

I got a call for this number and the guy's do not speak good english. Telling me that I am going to jail. I owe $365 on my loan and they indicate that I owe $2200. I hung up and called the called the loan comapny and they verified what I owe and made arrangement w/ me. Offices Jackson was the names and because I could not understand him I got transfer to a Mr. Lawson now I only $596. So, what is $596 and $ 2200.

Some a** hole called from pay day loan company probably located in india do not pay this guys even a single dollar they are scam. This guys call from india and ask for credit card or debit to pay off your loan do not give any personal information call the cops as soon as you get call from this number.

Got a message, "Jack" from Legal Department, he had the last 4 digits of my SSN!!!!!!!!  When I tried to call back it goes directly to an automated message saying that this mailbox is full.  What the Heck?  (My caller also did not sound American)

I got the same call two days in a row they also called my work saying that he was Officer Jack Steenson and that I was going to be arrested and I need to call him back right away but did not leave was company he was calling about and did have my last four of my ss#.

"This if officer Marcus Walker and we are conducting an investigation.  Please call me back as soon as you get this message."  He had an accent and I heard other people calling in the background.  I don't plan to call him back.

i got a call from officer david brown regarding a legal matter and i needed to call him back today or i will be arrested.  He had my full social and address.

I received a call from this number and they left a voicemail, I guess they did not realize they were calling a department of defense phone I am going to file a report.

"Adam Smith" from the "Dept. of Financial Crimes" called my wife several times saying she was a prime suspect and that she'd better call back to settle the matter out of court.

I received a call from David Brown stating unless I sent them $945 he would have me arrested.  Since I work for a bank and am well aware of these scams I did not give him anything and told him I have filed a police report and also contacted the FBI. When I called back the first time the number was disconected.

David Brown said that I had committed federal check fraud and that he was reading off my affidavit that I was going to court at 2:30 unless I settled right now on the phone.  

I kept asking for more information, and the caller kept saying "do not interrupt me".

Got the same call today AT WORK!! from an "officer Frank Jackson (?).  He left a message on my VM and I could hardly understand this guy.  Sounded like he said that there was a legal matter and only God or he could help me out of it by calling him back.  I heard a ton of people in the background and it sounded like they were leaving the same phone numbers on other machines.   After reading all these, I feel comfortable in NOT calling back

THEY CALLED SAYING I OWE MONEY FOR SOME PAYDAY LOAN COMPANY...I DIDN'T TRUST THIS SITE..SO I CHECKED IT OUT...AND THEY ARE FAKE....THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO DOWNLOAD A CASE FILE ON ME OR SOMETHING UNLESS I PAYED THE $750.

They called my friend all the way in ALASKA and left a message on her voicemail. They said we are suspects involving criminal activity and she, myself, or my attorney needs to call them back. we tried, and it goes straight to voicemail. you can't even understand the guy. They said they were from United Legal Service. And that he is a police officer. It is all lies. They are dangerous and they are definitely not american.I believe they are Indian too. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION.

A woman called me from this number saying I was going to be taken to jail for three months and have to pay $7500 if I didn't repay a loan of $550. I knew it was bogus and tried to get more information. I got transferred around for a bit, yet nobody I talked to seemed to make much sense. Then after I tell them to stop calling and I hang up, they impersonate a police officer and leave me a voicemail saying I'm going to jail. Anyways, this is a ridiculous scam, don't give em your time and certainly not any information.
