yeah but did any one actually sent a letter in the mail? and when you called you spoke to two people and they arranged a date for you to come in for a 90 min presentation? this is wat tey said to me!

I finally started trying to answer the calls so I could tell them not to call me anymore, but everytime I answered, there was just music on the other end!  Then on Saturday they called from this number 8174401027, and left a message saying that they were calling from American Airlines and some guy I don't even know had just arrived from Puerto Rico and they needed to drop off his bags at my house!  So that was the last straw for me, it was too bizarre and shady.  Yesterday, I sent an email to the Sandra Parades lady that other people mentioned on this website.  I told her all of what I told you on this site, and I got an email back saying I had been moved to their Do Not Call list and she was sorry for the inconvenience.  

This company is shady shady shady.  Contact that woman and get your name off of the list before they rope you into something you don't need.

It is a sweapstake/giveaway in which I filled out a flyer at the Galleria Mall in Houston, TX for a sports car. Those clowns getting you to sign up and showing you a Mercedes were so clever. The flyer is used to get your information and harrass you to see time share properties, this particular one was in Lake Conroe, TX.

I received 10 calls in 2 days. Most calls I ignored, but when I finally answered I got the "Award Center." I had filled out a form to "win" a SmartCar at the North GA State Fair. I realized it was a time share scam and declined to talk to them there, but now I'm getting the calls.

They constantly call me also, Like 3 times every minute, ALL HOURS OF THE DAY. I blocked there number and they call as a 000-000-0000. Im on the dont call registry but they still call. I dont have a timeshare and dont know how they got my number.

Recieved about 20 calls from this number over past week.  Caller hangs up when call is answered.

Number called me three times over two days. Finally called back and they answered "Awards Verification Center." I told them to put me on their Do Not Call List and the lasy said she'd take care of it. Havent gotten a call back but its still early.

Have received several calls at my place of employment.  Told the lady that it was a place of business.  She said okay and hung up but the next day the calls started again.  Thanks for all of the information which I read concerning this number.  I will have a come back when the next call comes.  Sounds like telephone harrassment to me; something that can be reported to law enforcement and filed on.

This is a call from a timeshare at silverleaf. They set up things at your local HEB. I dont know how they got my number but they got it from something I signed at heb, which was a credit receipt. Hmm.
I told them to remove me from the list and I got calls from other numbers too.

i signed up at my local mall for a car giveaway, and 8174401027 started blowing up my phone with the entire, "youve won blah blah" antic. it is a timeshare stint. ive gotten them to stop calling me by picking up, listening to them rant about what they are, then i say, "well, i have to talk to my husband about it bc his work schedule is very busy, is there a number i can call you back at?" it's worked. 2 weeks and no more calls. i even picked up and did that for a friend who signed up also.

These people have been calling me 4 or 5 times a day, never saying a word.
It is annoying and we are on a NO CALL list.  Wish I knew who to contact, other the company, to get them to stop.

I guess I am the more recent victim of this scam. I really don't care who is doing it. I want to know how to make it stop! if anyone has had any luck in this area please let us know.

The only time i remember giving my number away was my girl friend putting our numbers in car draws it was fabulous looking 09 in the Bay brook mall, friends wood , tx ... and this is the only way they could of obtain our numbers cuz they call both of us all the time

I called in told them i have already contacted my lawyer ( i actually did ) and i ordered them to remove me from the list ( and i told them that im recording the current call ) they said that a manager needs to remove it and theyll never call again ... i just did that but if one more call ill see them in court :)

Received multiple calls from this number in past 7 days - no message ever left.

817-440-1027 THEY JUST KEEP CALLING!!!! i emailed the company silverleaf to change my phone number--the pre-paid attorney firm we occassionally use I am sure can help them more than I!!

Have received 4 calls from this number today.  They call everyday and several times a day.

I get several calls from Silverleafnort every day several times a day.  It is getting very annoying and I refuse to answer their calls.

My husband and I went to their stupid time share resort and they tried to pull us in with their fony attitude we didnt fall for it. they said their going to send us on a cruise well we have to pay over $1thousand dollars just to regaster it..we can get better deal's by are self's the better business should look in to them..They are the RUDEST PEOPLE to.....

As i read many of your posts i realize im not the only one geting repeated unwanted calls from 817-440-1027. As soon as there number shows up on my cell I hang up emmediately. Today for instance they have called me since 9am its now 3:45pm. 15 calls for today alone and sure many more to come. Im sure its a scamer calling trying to give out promising information just to either get your money or scam you all together. Is'nt this a form of harassment? The next time they call im going to awnser and hold a blow horn to the phone. Lets see if they call again.

I have received multiple calls from this number daily for the past several weeks.  I have reported them, I have held down a button on the phone and have repeatedly pressed buttons on the phone.  Still, they call.  It is very irritating and bothersome.  How can I stop them?

They called my friend saying she one the mall car giveaway contest. Says she wins a car or 49,000 bucks or whatever. BUT she has to drive to conroe just to "look" at resort homes... she insists on going, she thinks they are gonna give her 49,000 bucks still even if she doesnt buy anything. Shes an idiot... im gonna go with her to make sure she doesnt do anything stupid... I also think im gonna tell everyone there to go f*uck themselves till I get kicked out.

I worked for them for three days about ten years ago.  they sell legit timeshares but are as high pressure as it comes in sales.  Tell them to take you off their list next time they call and they should not call back again.  If you do go sit throught the presntation they do give you teh gift cards but it's bnot worth it.

The same thing happened to me.  I just checked my credit report and see that they have inquired 3 times since 2008, and I have never heard of them either!
