Added them to my blacklist.
Problem solved.

It's Oxford Intl. There was a guy named Patrick Kennedy who asked for a lot of info about a previous co-work of mine. Very suspicious behavior. He seemed to be snooping around to collect info that he was not entitled to have. Never work with them or even pick up the phone!

Make a Classic Law Suit Action. There are multiple people who are fed up of getting harassment call from this irresponsible Oxford firm.
I am sure we can create solid petition list.
Once they start paying thousand dollars for the cause then they will stop calling !

Entire message: "Who's the dummy now? You can think whatever you want." To my knowledge I've never dealt with anyone at this number.

Caller ID still says OXFORD INTL
Kevin 2013-06-07 00:34:16 Unknown
I've worked for them in the past. They pay promptly though I didn't get the best rate. I do better hunting down my own work as I get a better rate but that's true of anyone. I'd rate them better than most contract recruiters.

Called me three or four times. Finally answered. When I told then I wasn't interested in the job I received sarcasm and just plain rude comments. Hung up on them.

They are now calling themselves Global International.
Same script however.....

This number calls me constantly and when I do feel like talking to them they put on their best plaid suit to sell me on some job that they won't give a whole lot of details about.

Received a call from "Hi this is Jennifer at Oxford. How is you Valentines Day?" from 817-490-5038. She then droned on about how she was working with sooooo many of my coworkers about SAP. You're involved in SAP, right?"
Jennifer baby, 1) I'm at work. 2) Valentines Day as an ice breaker? Really? Lame. 3) It's sooooo clear you're fishing. 4) Don't blow smoke up my tail trying to headhunt me or my coworkers.
I assured her the LAST thing I was doing right now was celebrating the holiday and had NOTHING to do with what she was calling about.
So ... Jennifer, your'e a headhunter. Fine. But, don't lie. Especially on Valentines Day! It's not pretty. And it's soooooooo 1980s..

They call me several times a day at work. I know that they are an IT recruiting company, but I just let it ring and ring and ring. Hopefully I am just wasting some of their time. Isn?t caller ID great!!!
Jim 2011-08-02 21:56:32 Unknown
This company supplies contract human resources for various types of professionals. I made the mistake of talking to them. It was like feeding a stray cat--I cannot get rid of them now. They call every day for three months now.
I wouldn't hire them now if they were a nickel an hour. They have no respect for any kind of boundaries. They may as well be selling burial plots or aluminum siding.

These are information collection agency. Your current employer or someone at your current work contacts them to spy on you. If you contact them, you definately will loose your current work. Manpower is notoriously known for this. They will harass you and send you back to your current work to be harrassed more.

I just received a call at work from this number. Someone trying to see Oracle services. Very disrespectful. Trying to find out where this came from so I can report this.
DMS 2011-06-06 20:59:43 Unknown
This number is from Oxford International - IT Recruiters.
KK 2011-06-06 20:59:43 Unknown
I received a call on my cell from this number and no one would talk, but the seconds on my phone kept going
David 2011-06-06 20:59:43 Unknown
Just a quick note to confirm that this is Oxford International, Global IT Resources. They provide consultants by contract to support IT, SAP, etc... They often do not leave voice or Email messages, but prefer to speak to a live person... even calling back many times a day in an attempt to get a live person...
Russ 2011-06-06 20:59:43 Unknown
Got several calls @ work in a row from this number. Did not pick it up because wasn't familiar with origin.
GJ 2011-06-06 20:59:43 Unknown
Yup - Oxford Int., IT contract work.
Red Jones 2011-06-06 20:59:43 Unknown
Oxford International, Global IT Resources is not an information collection agency that your employer hired to spy on you. But instead an IT recruiter as previously stated.
Jeff either does not have a clue or he has an ax to grind either way his statement is false.
I have worked with Oxford International on several occasions it is a reputable company.

Female left a voicemail message for "Lisa" (not my name) about a contract job. She left 1-800-724-8844 for Lisa to call her back. Sounded like they got a wrong number, not a telemarketer. I find it funny when people complain about receiving multiple calls and wanting it to stop, but they won't answer the phone to find it who it is or what they want. Geez people. They aren't going to come through the phone and hurt you.
mH 2011-06-06 20:59:43 Unknown
oxford International, yep, that's their number. Quite possibly one of the most dishonest IT recruiting company's on the planet. Avoid at all costs!
JJ 2011-06-06 20:59:43 Unknown
Agree with MH Oxford is a very dishonest firm that burns alot of bridges. Have worked for companies that refuse to work with them again.
MG 2011-06-06 20:59:43 Unknown
They actually got kicked off a conference site for parking a bus outside to 'recruit' conference attendees. All they do is place you with work, and take a big slice of your billing rate in compensation.
SasC 2011-06-06 20:59:43 Unknown
Calls job and house number every 15 minutes - sometimes starting at 6am and going through 10pm. If I don't recognize number, I don't answer the phone. No idea who this is.
Recipient 2011-06-06 20:59:43 Unknown
This number belongs to Oxford International. They have been calling incessantly for months, at least 2-3 times a day at my work number. The NEVER leave a message. They were polite when I asked to be put on the no call list. However, they have yet to process that request.
Karen 2011-06-06 20:59:43 Unknown
This is Oxford. This guy keeps calling me every month even though I have told him I don't need contract resources. I said if I need them, Iwill call you.
Canusayscam 2011-06-06 20:59:43 Unknown
Yep, it's Oxford International...... not a collection agency or SPY company as one has suggested and NO, you won't lose your current job.
Karen 2011-06-06 20:59:43 Unknown
I just got this call and ignored it though they did leave a voicemail from Oxford. I'll wait and see if they call again.
Sam J, your note cracked me up!
