A man spoke with the owner and proceeded with personal questions.  Like if the business was a corp. or family owned.  The owner asked what the nature of his call, he evasive.  When he asked if his daughter was his firstborn, he told him conversation was over.  Don't know what these guys are up to, but -they need to be stopped.

Got a call today from this number and the guy asked for me (owner) I asked him what could I do for him and he said Well here is my boss he wants to talk to you. I hung up knowing it was some type of telemarketer call.  He called right back.....Very rude!!

Looks like a local number.  When called back, phone company message states number is not correct.

More than likely this number is a fake and is from a phishing hole.

got call today from number - said her name was stephanie, acted like she knew owner - when i asked company she was calling from - she said BT Corp - and when i told her he wasnt in, not sure when he would be in, could i get her # and reason for her call - she just said to tell him it was Stephanie Eddy, and that she was going to have a "short" day tomorrow and not sure when SHE would be in and was acting very "rushed" on the line - do these telemarketers not realize that those of us who answer the phone, get these types of calls all day and most of us can detect a pushy salesperson on the other end and our bosses will never be bothered with these calls!!! lest we loose our jobs!!! ha ha ha - good luck!!!

Called our company's office at 2:32 in the afternoon. Some guy asking for me by name like he knew me. Our caller ID shows it to be a local call, so as our office takes calls for appointments we picked up. When calling it back a recording comes on stating another number 817-717-4198 has been disconnected. The guy says he is calling from Huey Mitchell's office. When searching Huey Mitchell, nothing comes up.

A man called, asked for owner by name. I said I would take his name, number, and a message and give it to the owner. He hung up. I called back and the recording said it was no longer a working number.

hung up once I answered.

Now getting called from a man at the same number, same routine, third call.  I asked how they could help on aerospace engineering out-of-state sales, and he lost interest.  Let's see how long till he calls again.

called wanting owner and when explained he was unavailble he became very short and refused to leave voicemail. then when i suggested he call back in the am he became very condensending and rude.

Repeatedly called wanting to make an appointment.  Vague information on what the appointment was about.  Trying to sell something, obviously.  Wouldn't take no for an answer.  She couldn't understand why I didn't want to at least hear what they had to offer, face to face.  Yea, sure!

Received a call from this number yesterday and asked the normal questions to find the appropriate person to send it to, OMG so rude and told me that I needed to be nicer if I wanted to gain her business and then she hung up

Tried to call back the number and nobody would answer.

She calls our office a least 5 times a day askinig for the owner or partner. When I tell her he is not in she hangs up, she will not leave a message. She is very rude.

they always call and ask for the owner...and when i ask for their name and what business they are from, they indicate "Wesley Stevens Office."

How do I get these people to stop calling?  I let the phone go to voice mail and they call continuously throughout the day!

A man named Ross from "DTI" called in asking for the President by name as if he knew him. I said he was in a meeting (truth) and he asked when he would be free.  I told him that I do not give out such information and asked him what his call was in regards to.  He said nevermind that he would call back tomorrow and hung up.  Very rude person.

called and asked for owner by his first name like he knew him. When I told him he was out of office he said he would call again and hung up abruptly. Didn't give me a chance to ask his name. I am the office manager and I am married to the owner so I know all of his friends and associates - this guy didn't know him!!

We get phone calls from this number very often.  They ask for the owner by his first name like they know him, they never leave a message and sometimes they are flat out rude.  It is always a different person every time they call.

Called and said he was calling for a developer and wanted to discuss some business.  Then said the developer would be in the neighborhood around 1:30.  When I proceeded to ask some questions, he hung up.

"Katy Alexander" phoned in being argumentative and hostile. After requesting several times what her call was regarding specifically so that I may leave a message she was nasty and said she would take her business else where. I believe that would be fine , we cant help her if she can not tell us why she is calling. Time Monger.

ASKED FOR JOE (THE OWNER LIKE SHE KNEW HIM) ASKED WHO SHE WAS SHE SAID DIANE - I SAID DIANE WHO - SHE SAID SHAW - I SAID WHAT IS IT IN REGARDS TO - SHE SAID AN APPOINTMENT - VERIFIED THIS WITH OWNER WHO SAID HE NEVER HEARD OF HER. - TOLD HER HE WAS TIED UP AND ASKED IF I COULD TAKE A MESSAGE - LINE WENT DEAD!

SO RUDE AND WEIRD!!

THEY ASK FOR THE OWNER AND WHEN I SAY HE IS BUSY, THEY HANG UP, EVERYTIME.

Asked for the owner by name. I asked if they were a customer and she gave the name of Sharon Landough or Landau and stammered and then said maybe, could be a potential customer. I told her he was on the phone (he was).
I didn't believe her because the call came through as "Unknown Name".
She said she'd call back in 10 minutes.
This was at 12:21 P.M.
Called back 12:28, 12:48 and 1:11 P.M. by then he was at lunch. She said she'd call back in the morning. I trust she will!
Could hear other callers in the background like a call center (telemarketer or scam artist of some sort).
