This is GM Financial, a collection agency who I believe is hired by Americredit.

GM Financial is who is associated with this number. They may be a debt collector who works for Americredit.

This is in INDEED Americredit/GMAC.  They call me repeatedly about a car loan that has been paid off for over a year.  When the car was paid off, I received a 10 day pay off rate.  I sent them a cashiers check for the full amount and hand delivered it to there Plano TX office.  I had then sign and notarize a statement declaring that the amount paid was the full pay off amount and listed the amount.  It was signed by the location manager.  They sat on the check for 12 days before depositing it and then had the audacity to tell me that I was late making the payoff.  I finally took them to court for harrassment and won a nice little settlement.  I will never use GMAC to finance anything again.

Very suspicious, called asking about my cousin saying he put me as a reference. They wanted all his information such as address, phone#, company he works for, name of his supervisor, where he lives, etc. Thank godness I did not have any of this info, but a phone number. When I asked who was calling they just said a first name and hung up. WTH????

I received a call from this number (*69) tonight and teh female caller asked if I was Erin Bunn..then identified the street name i live on...when I asked her to identify herself she gave her 1st name and said she was with GM ~ then asked me if I have seen a green Mazda on my street. I am on the do not call list but I find this to be more intrusive than telemarketers. I want to report this and am willing to do whatever it takes to stop this type of phone call....

I think that it is sad that this company is going to call my husband about a co-worker on his work cellphone. My husband told them the work phone number that they wanted. He said sorry you have the wrong number. They kept asking questions. I think that it is ridiculous how these companies work. It's ashamed even If you have good credit, you still get phone calls from debt collectors on the people that you work with that you don't really know except in the workplace. I think that they need rules about etiquette!

These people have called REPEATEDLY in the past few days.  Left a message for me, using my name, and asked me to relay a message for my neighbors across the street to call them at 1-888-755-8646 ext. 52917.  I barely even know my neighbors.  Why they are calling me is ridiculous!  This is not the first time I have received such calls.  How on earth is it okay for bill collectors to now call your NEIGHBORS???

I just tried the number...to give them a piece of my mind, but they are "down for maintenance"  til 3:30a.m.  I will definitely being calling them back tomorrow.

It is Americredit, debt collectors or car loans.
