Yes this is Americredit, You may not owe them but someone you know may......a member of your family or a friend may have used you as a reference and they(americredit) will call you to track this person down for avoiding them, or to see if you will h=give them said persons' contact info if it was changed and not updated in their system

I get a call everyday from this number. I have a very good credit history and dont owe any money to anyone. This is harassment....calling everyday at anytime of the day and disturbing us.

I too got two calls/voice mail messages from this number on my cell phone in the past couple months, just got another one this morning.  I believe it's a collection agency but not sure.  I know they are not looking for me since I don't owe any one since going through bankruptcy, so they must be looking for the person who previously had my cell number or they are making scam calls in order to take money.  Do they not know that people will not answer their calls, let alone, call them back.  They need to stop calling and wasting my minutes on my cell since I have a pay-as-you-go cell phone.  Makes me mad!

Called in error, possibly looking for a previous owner. Clearly poor database maintenance.
