I have no loans from anyone (per citations above). They have called daily (M-F) for at least one month now, asking for someone that is not me, to call them back at a 1800 number. Perhaps someone who did "business" with them gave me my number. However, the one time I did answer their call, I informed them that they must have the wrong number--there is no one here by this name. Relentlessly, they have left messages 1-2 times daily for more than three weeks now. Seriously annoying.

I have a loan through GMC financial and it can be my due date and they are calling on the same day it is due. I always pay it online which takes time to process so it isn't just for deadbeats as you say, there are a lot of situations that don't equal behind on car loan.

GMFinancal KEEPS CALLING FOR SOME ONE i'VE NEVER HEARD OF !  i'VE HAD THIS NUMBER FOR OVER 4 YRS SO THE PERSON THEY ARE HUNTING HASN'T HAD THIS NUMBER FOR over 4 YRS. !!
GMFinancal is calling me 3 or 4 times a day ! "harrassing" me !

Lack of intelligence....they called for the same person again.

This number is for GM Financial (formerly known as Americredit) for car loans.  I get multiple calls daily from them when I am behind on my payment.  Its a recurring thing each month once I pass the due date on my payment due to current financial hardships.  The people calling though are always very nice and they will work with you if you explain your situation and why you're behind and they'll allow you to set up a payment or to call back when you're able to make a payment.

"This is Prycilla. Can I speank to D**** V*****."
"This is M-____L____. There is no one here by that name."
"He works out in the field"

"I am not trying to collect any information, but he told us he works there."

Answered call from this number at my office.  Caller requested to speak to a former employee here.  Caller ID shows GMFINANCIAL. Told caller the requested individual is no longer employed here, she said "thank you" and hung up.

They never call me when I am a day late. It's only when I am 14 days behind.

I hate to say it but they are correct. If you co-signed for the note, and your son is late or not paying they are well within their rights to contact you for payment. That is what it means to co-sign a loan. Your saying that you guarantee payment for or by the other person.

the guy didn't leave a company name,only his first name, but when  i checked the envelope history on my voicemail and search the number it's americredit.  i'm late and need to pay.  i will call and they will make an arrangement.  i have a sick child and they work with me.  if you are 1 day late, they will call.  that's the part that i absolutely hate.  ugh!

Just because some people are getting calls from this company doesnt mean  they are deadbeats.  People have numbers changed all the time and I receive calls all the time for people who I have no idea who they are.  I have had my number for over 10 years so obviously they have the wrong number but continue to call.  Not everyone is a dead beat.  Sounds like you are a jerk.

I have no debts. My family has no debts. Companies calling at all hours, asking for some random name, of whom I've never heard of, that has no connection to my phone number. They are scammers calling. There needs to be a law.

i think i'm like 7 days late...who knew they would be calling me for 7 days late...guess i better pay on time and also find a way to pay off early...i hate to be bugged about stuff like this.

I received a phone call from this number a little while ago, and they said I was used as a reference for somethign and to call them back on another number - a 1 800 number

they are americredit and yes I do have my car under them but I have tried time and time again to have them switch my due date for my payment so that it can automatically come out but they refuse so they can keep calling me all they want, Yes I make my payment but I make it within the 10 days grace period I have, hey if they don't want to help me out I might as well make them work for their money

I keep getting phone calls from this company and have never had anything to do with Americredit. They very rarely leave messages and when they do they leave a message for someone different everytime.

got a call looking for Regina on my wifes cell, her name is Chris. No Regina here. They are GM Financial formerly Americredit, from what the Lady said. She said they finance autos. Said my number would be taken off the list at midnight ....lets see.

No reason for me to get a call from this #. I don't answer from numbers not in my address book. According to other posts it is a loan company and I don't have a loan with them... and even if I did I am never late on payments.  Phone is on a no call list.

They call me every day..  i call back and no one answer.

8-11-2011 10:30 a.m. I rec'd a phone call from 817-524-2446  (male voice) the message was "HEY CALL ME BACK YOU F**..." who do I report this to? I have had very nice calls from Americredit and they are helpful, up until this call.

I have talked to these people and have told them to stop calling me they are calling about my sisters busness. i never gave her permission to give them my number. I told them to call her at work they said they couldnt I told them they could shes the manager but they insisted she might lose her job so I told them not to call me then, but that only worked for a few months, now they are calling again. And I am also on the do not call list.
