What was the result of the meeting?

Most likely it's Silverleaf Resorts. The way they end up calling you is because when you're out and about like expos and sports games there's booths that say oh enter to win Texans tickets. That's how my mom and uncle got hooked. They call you to have a talk with you and try to convince you to a member. My uncle became one and now he has time shares and can get rooms with them throughout the country. I was at an Astros game and wanted a towel so i filled out the form to get it and now they're calling. I'm 15, how do they expect me to pay for that

Silverleaf (timeshare) just called about a drawing my family and I entered into just for kicks, and about me being some winner of the drawing. They wanted me to go to New Braunfels, Texas for a 90 minute tour of their hotel then I could claim my prize (Mercedes, $49k, all too good to be true). Anywho, I new this biz to be SCAMtastic already so I just didn't bother going. Tip: tell them if they don't stop calling, you'll add their name and number to a list you give to your family lawyer, among other things to try it worked for me :]

I think they sell time shares.  You have chance to win free vacation, car, cash etc.  The lady who called me was very persistent.  She did not even listen to me.  CLICK.

This number text me today it said. "Hey I just called your number" I bet its some type of scam because they calling and texting. Must be a Scammer

I just blocked it from my iPhone.  Works great!

Please stop calling me. I dont know who you all are.

I get calls from this number every day. I think I ran a 5k race and put my name for a drawing to win a car. Don't remember signing up for anything else. Worst decision ever. I'm about to disconnect the phone service.

I recently "won" a trip. I'm 18 and wasn't informed that I had to be 21 before signing up at Adventure Landing so my boyfriend's parents are going. The promised one of the following: a Mercedes Benz, a Bentley, a Porsche, 49,000 dollars, 1500 dollar shopping spree, or 500 dollars in cash PLUS trip. I asked if I was guaranteed the trip and they said yes. I knew they were a timeshare and I believe they may be a scam but it's worth trying, I suppose. I'll report back after Sunday, when my boyfriend's parents go.

They just called again and this time I answered.  Yes, it was because of a drawing I entered at the mall.  It is set up on an auto dialer and if you don't answer it will keep dialing you.  You can answer and tell them that you are not interested and to remove you from the winners list (supposedly, that's why they called you just won a prize but you have to drive all the way to the resort to try and claim it. gimme a break).  I went through the whole speech with them and set up a visit for the first of Feb.  I'm going to be the guinea pig and report back to you all what happens.

The number just called but I didn't answer but after reading the previous posts, I remember entering a drawing in the mall for a vehicle and they were also trying to get me to sign up for some resort getaway, so maybe you guys entered something like that. Next time they call I will answer and give an update.

There is a feature on the iPhone 5 which allows you to block unwanted calls. I blocked calls from Silverleaf Resorts. For about two months I received no calls from Silverleaf. However, today I received my first call from them with a different phone number. After hearing people say being placed on a no-call list was unsuccessful, I feel like the next logical step is to go to Silverleaf and punch someone in the face; or call them incessantly for the rest of their lives.

I've been getting calls from this company (Silver Leaf). They've called be under 4 different numbers, this being the most recent. They also sent a letter to my house saying I 'won' a trip and car and money. It's getting annoying. Just a heads up, I entered in their raffle at a White Sox game (they claimed it was for season tickets and all I had to do was guess how many baseballs were in a jar). Turned out to be this. I've also seen them out at Brookfield Zoo. scammers for sure.

I get called twice a day from these clowns.  My caller ID shows them as Silverleaf Resorts and they are in Austin, Texas.  Apparently they are an outfit trying to scam money from you to buy time at a vacation resort.
Won't take NO for an answer, so don't bother even talking to them.

It's a timeshare company, they say you won a trip or large some of money. The way you can claim it is they want you to come and listen to their shpeel and tell you about their time share...after that you have to sign up for a time share in order to get ur trip/prize...huge scam! Don't do it!

Called my cell phone about 20 times a day???????  I am at work give me a break.  They left no messages at all.    SO I stored their number on my cell phone after they called.  Blocked the number on my cell phone
and AMEN....... LOL.

Same here....I ignore the call for the longest time n now another similar number is calling.

Calls went on for 4 weeks, never once leaving a message. I blocked the number and now a different Arlington number is calling!! Ugh!

Yes they are very annoying but it's a legit company and prizes. My sister and my cousin both worked for them and one of my good friends won 2 vacations from them he gets to go to Jamaica and Orlando, I have seen his paperwork. You have to sit through a 90min timeshare presentation but you still get the vacation if you don't sign up.

got the call today i s*** my pants because i filled out a form a month ago and being 18 thinking i can win a porsche  come to find out its a scam.... F****NG GREAT

this number calls me every single day for a least 6 times a day.

So tired of these spam calls.....calls at all times of the day and night. Time for a complaint to the FTC...

Just call them back and ask them to stop calling you. It might take a couple tomes but eventually they stop

They asked for me, I replied in Spanish that nobody here by that name.  She proceeded to give her shpiel.  I interjected with the voice like Consuela from Family Guy.. "no... no... no English".  She then asked if someone in the house spoke English.  I said in broken English/Spanish accent " yes, you win a car".  she started talking again and i said, "no... no English."  After a while of this back and forth, she got frustrated and hung up
